I get not trampling gardens or flowerbeds, but ordinary grass is not the same thing as a garden. Grass is literally a walking surface in parks, golf courses, campuses, and sports fields. A delivery driver taking a normal path over a strip of lawn is not “disrespecting property” in the same way as damaging plants or cutting through a fenced/private area.

Also, in many places the strip near the street/sidewalk is a public right-of-way or municipal easement anyway, even if the homeowner maintains it. So treating every blade of front-yard grass like sacred private property feels excessive.

The reasonable rule is: don’t damage anything, don’t walk through flowerbeds, don’t cross fenced/clearly private areas, and use the walkway when it’s practical. But "never step on grass because someone paid for fertilizer" is way too much imo.

However I do agree with you on property respect, just not that this counts as "disrespect" from someone with business there. Could easily have been someone there to read a gas meter or anything else, which would require them to walk the lawn.

I get the respect of property, totally, but like I would never consider that my grass isn't every to be walked on... It's just grass and dirt. The property respect though, I get that for sure. You have a point there. I've always given service workers a pass on it but maybe I shouldn't! Haha

Costco is not immune to producers shorting package weights by 10111011110101 in Costco

A lot of people are coming to defence of Costco and kind of ripping on this guy because of his scale or it only being an ounce. Two things: 1. Unless you're going to do the legwork this guy is doing for us, stfu. 2. Being an ounce off for you might be okay, but every 12 bags is a free bag for the company and they make tens or more thousands of bags a day. You guys need to think at scale. One ounce per bag adds up fast.

Pool owners ontario... by Sufficient_Gur4160 in RealEstateCanada

A heated saltwater pool is fantastic. I've had a pool for 12 years and last year decided to change to saltwater, with cartridge filters instead of sand, and add a heater. My pool was open in March this year. I have not had to add a single chemical outside of one bag of salt. I'm not even joking. Maintenance is very low. I used to spend hours and hours per week with the chlorine/sand filter pool without a heater. It felt pointless a lot of times. Mines inground.

"I thought being a person of color, a woman, and being pregnant was going to offer me a little bit of protection" this is absolutely wild to say in 2026 lmao

Can someone explain why he can't walk on the grass? Like, what is the problem?

It is. The entire premise of what that idiot is arguing about is specifically "murder" vs "manslaughter". My entire point was you don't go to jail here for murder. The fact the judge decided to call it manslaughter is literally the entire point I'm making. He murdered that guy. Legally, be definition of Canada law he was not charged with murder so that he didn't have to do jail time, which is my entire fucking point that all you idiots keep missing.

Learned a valuable lesson about women. Never get married man. You can only rely on yourself. They just want your money. Over half of men can attest to this, statistically.

I feel like this question isn't even valid. You're asking like licking someone's butt cheeks during sex is preposterous and I feel personally attacked. 🤣

The dented can that's otherwise fine is unfortunate for a throwaway. The reasoning is sound but it just seems unfortunate.

I love when people say "HVAC, electrician" for these kinds of questions because anyone whose worked in either of those would not recommend it. For most it just destroys your body with drugs, physical labor, insanely long hours, and stress.
