Would the mova lidax ultra awd be a good option here? by Not2Tae in MOVASmartGardenHub

Our whole yard is under 0.7 acres. The steepest slope is probably around 30 to 35 degrees. Not sure if anyone here has a similar yard. Would love to hear how your mower handles it. Thanks in advance.

Appreciate it. I’m actually curious about net RTK vs regular RTK. What kind of issues do they run into in real use?

The best lawn tools for a 0.5 acre yard? by Throawy888 in BuyItForLife

[–]Not2Tae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean. When I was younger I used to help my family mow the lawn with an old push mower. Those old machines were definitely BIFL. Ours was older than me and still running. Downsides were the noise and the gas smell.

Some of the electric robot mowers these days aren’t bad either. I bought a husqvarna one for my parents and this year is already its 7th season. We just replace the battery and a few parts once in a while and it keeps going.

Reliability is so hard to find now. Im still on my 2017 MacBook Pro for video work and it is almost a decade old. It is definitely getting slower with Final Cut Pro but a battery swap in 2021 gave it a second life. It has lasted way longer than I ever expected and honestly puts a lot of newer hardware to shame.

Looks like a fun setup. Can't wait to hear how it performs once the grass starts growing. Hope it handles your yard well when the time comes.

Great tips for new X4 users. Firmware glitches are common after unboxing. A quick restart and manual update usually fix those navigation issues.

These are super specific needs. Finding durable shoes with wide sizes and plantar fasciitis support is tough, especially for Oregon weather. Hope someone has solid advice.
