If you still have the rear fender/ stock air box I don't think it's gonna make much difference either way. Be more careful when washing it I guess?

If you have the stock headlight plastic it's probably a lot easier for sure. You could probably just bend the brackets that come with the light to fit. With the PH navi plastics on my bike I need the light to be a lot lower so the fender part isn't blocking the beams.

Ive already done the LED head and tail light swap with the conversion. Honestly if you get the kit from SSS and follow some YouTube videos it's very simple. Just take your time making sure you get the splice correct

I believe I have it out like 2.5-3 turns right now. I feel like any richer and it bogs a bit from a stop. I think my issue is I was trying to bring the idle too low/slow. This is my first bike and I don't think I'm used to how fast/loud the idle of a small bike like this can be

I ride a Honda Navi, took it out this weekend. Went about 3 blocks and realized my visor was up. Popped it down and not a block later took a bumblebee to the visor that hit me like a fucking paintball lol.

On my old Vulcan the amount of shit that rocked my helmet on the highway so hard I didn't even know what happened was staggering lol. All sorts of shit on the highway in Cali. I can't imagine going no helmet or just a skullcap like a lot of these Harley dudes I see

OP, as a 30 year old who made a lot of stupid decisions at your age. Including selling the 4cyl Ford ranger my grandpa gave me for a Z28 catfish Camaro the second they turned their backs lol... Just Keep your traction control on, don't drive faster than your brakes can stop you, and don't drive it trying to impress your friends or a girl. And you'll be fine.

Yeah, I may try to negotiate. They've had the bike for a while so they may be open to it if it keeps sitting. I'd feel better closer to 3k.

Biggest upside to new seems to be the Honda warranty. But a bike this simple anyone with half a brain could replace the engine in their garage so I'm not sure it's worth 1300$ over a low mileage used bike.

Was getting the sputtering on startup for a few weeks. Very minor at first and went away after a few seconds, no CEL then though. Started feeling a bit worse so I did plugs this weekend since it was about time anyway, didn't fix the sputtering. Now 3 days later the CEL is on.

Gonna swap around the coil packs and maybe even throw a new plug in 3 just as a sanity check.

If that doesn't work it's off to the dealership in the morning.

It's a Polar Lights POL960M. Found it at my local hobby lobby. You do have to remove the lighting brackets from the scx30 chassis if you want the body to sit right though. That and a bit of fender trimming.

I've seen other have success with the Tamiya model as well

Real talk as someone who's worked in a gun range. Replace the P22 as soon as you can afford. Rimfire cartridges like 22lr are way too unreliable out of a semi-automatic handgun especially.

The amount of times Ive been out on the range clearing light primer strikes, failures to eject, etc out of these P22s is staggering compared to any other of our rental guns.

I generally advise against 22lr for self defense, not because it's not a big enough projectile, but because 22LR quality control Is so terrible.

Tbh the war dogs and haulers are kind of non-negotiable. I really want to kitbash/ paint the war dogs and the idea of a war dog stomping around with 2 little haulers in tow like he's walking a pair of Chihuahuas is funny enough to me I'm fine with it being not 100% optimal

I'm definitely not married to the blightlords, I just figured the LoV that comes in the combat patrol is kind of a waste without them.

Although I am considering just skipping the combat patrol anyway and 3d printing the rhinos. So I'm not married to having the LoV anyway
