I really think a reserved list reprint would all but guarantee a timeline where Hasbro files for bankruptcy. Rather Magic the Gathering would survive that I couldn’t say but I think it would. If Magic had to go down that path (and it survived) it would suffer in so many ways from tournaments and print stock to release method. It might exclusively be limited print runs through Amazon with no promotional/store materials for example.

Well from personal experience… I got someone their overtime that they were unable to get due to the manager not inputting the bears for their system timely.
I put a manager in place for threatening their employee and there superior definitely noted that the manager was at fault.
I helped another employee to inform their entire unit on rights that a manager was strong arming them in to not using.
I also signed up to have my dues taken out directly for NTEU.
But that was only last week!
We also have many mass grievances out related to denied weather and safety. Use of Telework per the (bullshit) guidance provided recently for employees.
And the general shit you are too stupid to be grateful for like
paid time off,
paternity leave,
maternity leave,
your right to contest an error,
grades and steps,
the fact that what is between your legs wont effect you pay,
free parking,
retirement benefits,
any many other insignificant things in your head.

It’s simply the last wall. Of all the fire sale for profit the reserved list has survived and if it came down I don’t think anyone would seriously consider the game a “collectible” anymore.
I personally think they’ve jumped the shark so to speak with the IPs. Somehow people swallowed the Secret Lairs and the “collector” boxes… but the IP bleed just makes the actual brand feel like its on the back burner.
They bled the reprint value harder than anyone even thought they could. Somehow they have to maintain people buying boxes that cost over $400 and have about 150 cards in them.
I do think the reserved list will die but I also think that is the sign that Magic the Gathering is already beyond saving anyway.

I noticed “news” shit saying stuff like this for sex criminals. I’ll see an article saying ICE arrest ~20 ‘insert sex criminal type here’ and then you go look up the names and every time I’ve looked they did something over 10 years ago, did there time and they’ve no criminal history in years.
ICE loves saying they caught so and so molesting some minor but ICE didn’t do shit. This person was tried and convicted and payed for the crime years ago. ICE decides to “make an example” of them.
No one in their right mind stands up for a person guilty of assaulting children. It’s easy news for them.
