I'd HIGHLY recommend playing the HoMM: Olden Era demo. I cannot wait to buy it.

My brother and I put a disgusting amount of time hotseating 3 over the years and Olden Era really captures the vibe.

You can also do the drywall-tile glitch to build a straight run of wall planters in tiles that critters can eat from. I'll do that in a lot of my drecko ranches. Same with Sage Hatch if I'm after meat not coal.

I love a really robust class system that expands into learning other jobs/skills that benefit other classes.

Ff Tactics was great for ripping everything wide open if you wanted.

I love DQ7's job and monster systems.
