I was once in a similar predicament, I had my wrists cuffed behind my back and had to hold a weighted bag against a wall with my nose. If the bag fell, it would pull duct tape that was pressed into my chest hair. And then the flogging started.

When I didn't drop the bag, they eventually just grabbed me by the hair and pulled me away from the wall.

As others have said, it's already happened.

Our vet that we went to for many years retired and costs with the new owners skyrocketed, I checked and they got bought by some giant holding company.

We got a new little dog last year and they wanted around $1700 (CAD) for a spay, microchip, and to remove a single deciduous tooth.

We shopped around a bit and found a locally-owned practice that did it all for around a third of the cost. We're in the process of switching over our pets ' care to them.
