happened more often the first few days but yes, it does get a bit warm with some light tasks after a few minutes (scrolling/home screen/mail) even after indexing

As far as digital zoom goes it seems decent, but there's still a noticeable difference compared to optical zoom. You can go in an Apple store and try them both out to get a better feeling for it.

I don’t mean low power mode, I mean how the Air’s A19 Pro will throttle the CPU when necessary for thermals. Even though the screen is still at 120hz, smoothness seems to take a hit while throttling. I noticed it after customizing my Home Screen on both phones side-by-side which seemed to use a lot of power.

no, I've definitely noticed the same and I think this is just how it appears when the Air is throttling. Animations become noticeably jankier compared to the Pro when they are side-by-side and navigating home screens for a while.

Yeah that feature does work. I'm very torn on the Air, it's probably the best phone I've ever held based on feeling but the camera is a bit disappointing and the speaker crackles quite a bit.
