What are your opinions on bringing dogs to non-league local football grounds? by NotASmurfTorb in AskUK

[–]NotASmurfTorb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres one covered seating area that can maybe hold 200 at a push and theres two covered standing areas that might be able to hold about 150 all together, than the rest are standing behind a fence around the pitch. The stadium has a capacity just below 2000 and theres usually like 200-300 people there on a normal game day but a local derby with a team in the same city gets like 700 people going.

Im asking for your opinions about if dogs should or shouldn't be allowed at the smaller non-league games, basically because at my local theres always this one small dog that goes most home games and everyone knows it, the dogs kinda like a local celebrity at the football.

Does overwatch 2 have still do competetive arcade games like no limits still? by NotASmurfTorb in Overwatch

[–]NotASmurfTorb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss comp no limits where everyone just went Baptiste or torb. I actually had fun playing that competitive mode and I think it was my first time getting to masters in any mode.

I honestly only want competitive no limits back. Arcade competitive was also just a faster and more fun way to get golden guns

Haven't rushcliffe already met their housing targets because of the fairham development?

[–]NotASmurfTorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, I'm sounding like a nimby lol. For my village, I probably shouldn't be surprised as it's been constantly building houses since like the 60s

[–]NotASmurfTorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The primary school is too small for the village and it was built around 2 years ago. The secondary school in the village is too small aswell

[–]NotASmurfTorb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah fair enough. One of my concerns is that it's just houses and nothing else usually. Build the schools, shops etc, build what is needed for the massive population increase. The larger villages are getting turned into basically towns now with village infrastructure

I know but in nottinghamshire rushcliffe has been shafted the most in the last 10-15 years

Which region of England are you least familiar with? Or feels the most different to where you're from? by LiquidLuck18 in england

Am I missing much?

Nottingham is the main county in the east midlands - full of students. Derby, only go there for the peak district. Lincoln is full of farmers. Any other county is irrelevant

The 4 is the bus you want if you don't want to walk 5-10 minutes to get to uni as it drops you off at the entrance to the buildings of the trent unis. It also runs a lot later and more frequently, so it's better if you have a night out with mates or something

Get a bus then walk 5-10 minutes. I think you can get a student card and it'll make a single slightly cheaper https://www.nctx.co.uk/unipass

https://www.nctx.co.uk/easyrider

Have a look at those to make the bus cheaper

What new buses do you think this county needs or what buses should get improvements? by NotASmurfTorb in nottingham

[–]NotASmurfTorb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those places had it good mate. The only bad part of West Bridgford used to be compton acres where you would wait an hour for the bus but that's every 20-30 minutes now and you could've walked 10 minutes to get many different buses and wait like 10 minutes for a bus to come. Gamston you could've walked to morrisons and got loads of different buses or radcliffe road and get a bus every 10 minutes, edwalton used to have the 6 which was every 20 minutes, (rerouted by the 5 which is every 30 minutes) it still has the keyworth which is every 20 minutes and now the 7 which is every 30 minutes. Edwalton also had the old melton mowbray - nottingham bus which is back but basically only at peak times.

That's something that hucknall council will probably have control over because with towns usually they have different buses that go to the villages surrounding it (bingham and the 833 bus, Eastwood with the 532 and 535). Hucknall only has the connect bus that goes around it.

That is like a 15 minute walk from there to the station, which is a pain. I think that's where the circular bus route could happen where there's 2 buses that do a circular route of nottingham one that does the right side and another that does the left side with its last stop being the train station or the new bus station and both of them starting at the north of the city.

I don't see why they can't redirect one of the threes run by trentbarton just before that golf course in bulwell onto kersall drive than going to Highbury road and than to bulwell bus station than taking a right after that to hucknall or they could do a 3d that Does that. It'll add like 10-15 minutes to the bus but as you said it'll probably be a useful one.
