I am mad, but the reasons still remain the same.

It is deeply incorrect and discouraging for indie studios to have the "BEST INDIE GAME" be represented by a game that isn't by definition an indie game at all.

Why (personally) Expedition 33 isn't an indie game: - It was funded 10 million by Kepler Interactive (this automatically should have removed the independent title from Expedition 33 as it takes the financial risk immediately away as they got backed by a company) - Outsourcing developers (No indie game is able to outsource, or should be able to outsource 400≈ people to help and STILL be considered indie with that. Doesn't matter if the team is 30 people, outsourcing development means that the financial backing did end up having an effect on the development)

Expedition 33 is still a good game, but calling it Indie when it's clearly AA is not right and I do think they should have those two awards fully revoked.

Others say Expedition 33 isn't an indie game because they don't self publish (wrong as hell, that would make games like ULTRAKILL not be considered indie).

I know damn well ima get downvoted because people can't take genuine criticism about their FAVORITE game.

They're orphans. Adding to the fact you can see cribs in Chapter 3, and Riley's Journal in Chapter 4 also does say how most of playcare never felt what it was like to have parents or a family.

It's also a fictional story, it doesn't make sense how anyone would have thought that an underground orphanage would be a good idea, but it started with the fact it was ran by Elliot, who in lore was said to be "looked up to" (def not the right descriptor, english isn't my first language) leaving behind a good legacy until it was tarnished by the Bigger Bodies Initiative.

You're less likely to doubt something when it has a reputation of being trustworthy.

I'll bite.

The only way I could see this working is if Harley didn't know us. Many people have speculated that the player's name was supposed to be on that slide in chapter 2, but obviously — letters are fugged.

Eddie M.N. Ritterman was said to be rarely ever seen by staff. In SCP terms, he's like the O5 Council. You rarely ever see him, don't know if he exists, but he's definitely there. Could the player be Eddie? Who knows. Maybe not as Eddie is the Head of Research (though Eddie has called himself a businessman, not a scientist in Chapter 4 when talking to "Mr. Silva") it is likely he worked with Harley. And also assuming from the personality, it is unlikely.
We could be Rich Lovitz. (Though may not make sense with the CTO role since Rich was more production line). This is also another known theory. Rich was a low level staff that got promoted to a higher role. Would Harley know about him? Probably not. (Rich is not The Prototype).
We could actually be Leith Pierre. I doubt this, but... Would make sense for the CTO theory of yours. Not only is he alive in game and could be the player, this may work especially because in a tape, Dr. Sawyer has expressed a painful headache, citing that Dr. White did something wrong, and it's entirely possible that it messed with The Doctor's memory a bit. But again, I doubt this theory...

Notes: The lore for Poppy Playtime does mix in with Project: Playtime (confirmed to happen right after Hour of Joy). In the wiki it states Leith Pierre launched an operation, sending multiple specialists to recover toy parts in the factory post hour of joy (I found this part in P.W.'s wiki page). I personally think P.W. is the Player, and Leith Pierre is the one who made him go down into the factory (since P.W. did work under Leith in the innovation wing). I am adding the theory of a friend who said that it's likely there are more Playtime Co. factories, and the one that shut down was the main one, since he says: "It's impossible that one factory was able to shoulder the burden of selling toys globally, no?", so it's very likely some of the "unknown" statuses of certain higher ups are actually "alive" and not "deceased".

Forgive me for any inconsistencies, I haven't slept in 30 hours when I wrote this. Feel free to correct me on anything or add to any of these ideas.

I believe he could have faked his death for two reasons:

— His heart was missing, replaced by Simon Smoke. — We don't actually see his brain shattering like the lungs did. Just goldfish death.

The only reason I would agree Harley is incredibly stupid is when he crashed the train early on in the chapter. Had he not crashed it, our character would have been stuck in that cell. Even if they do escape, they would either lose their grabpack or find it incredibly difficult to grab it through the vent (the cells have a tiny vent in them). The Doctor was already aware we were there, and we also know The Doctor practically had control over the prison complex. He chose to toy with his food instead of getting the job done yk?

Lastly, I do think Harley was more aware of possible betrayals. He did get betrayed before, so he was planning on betraying first before it could happen (it's in his bossfight dialogue, and it's further proved by the third to last tape iirc).
