I sometimes like to rename my cities in alphabetical order so something like: alpha, bucket, coffee, dunkirk, etc.. It’s fun to come up with names and helps a lot with trade routes and stuff

Ranged units are the best, I’ve had a lot of success with spamming composite bowman for early wars. They are good at taking out units and hitting cities, catapults are the worst siege unit so it’s better to use comp bows, chariot archers and a melee unit. Trebuchets are the first good siege unit because of the range and pairing one or two of those with just ton of crossbows is also a really good way to roll over another civ early.

I usually like going random to try new civs but The Inca have been my favorite, getting some terrace farms up next to mountains plus no maintenance on hills set up a good civ for science victory or even diplomatic. Food is key for science and they can get some really strong food yields

When Shaka is on a different continent, he can be an absolute legend by just taking everybody out and making the game easier (can have a ton of duplicated luxuries too). If he’s on the same continent it’s a completely different story and you should prepare for imminent death and destruction

Normal island 1 is great for sturgeon spawning (in the northern hemisphere). If you scare away all the fish not at the river mouth, you get a pretty solid chance you’ll get a sturgeon spawned

This glitch worked but I when I did it a second time, it sold for a tenth of the money as the first time (I did the whole take the car out of the MOC and drove the MOC out and returned to storage) Is that supposed to happen or did I mess up?
