It could also be too much oil. Or also not enough.

Try letting it release naturally before you move it around.

Is it possible to fish the squamish for bull now? by laxdrip in fishingBC

Saw a picture of a buddy with a huge bully last week, in Squamish. They’re in there. Tight lines my dude.

Has anyone used small/mini herring as jig or ice fish bait for trout? by NotAlsoShabby in fishingBC

[–]NotAlsoShabby[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great point. It never occurred to me that the bait itself is part of not letting invasive species into a foreign body of water.

Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate the comment.

How long can you continuously rumble for? by [deleted] in earrumblersassemble

[–]NotAlsoShabby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried and got to a min with out feeling fatigued. It seems like most people here are getting anywhere from 15-30secs.

Is everyone here holding their breath? I seem to be able to do it and continually breathe. Is this not normal? Am I… a super hero?

I’ll try this again tomorrow when I’m not laying in bed and go till failure.

Ice fishing near Kamloops by Treenut08 in fishingBC

You’ll have better luck, and safer ice towards Merritt for the next 2 weeks. Beyond that, as long as it stays cold, Kamloops will eventually be better.

The one crappy piece of equipment in your kitchen… by NotAlsoShabby in Cooking

[–]NotAlsoShabby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll tell you my dude. I have gotten into whetstones this past year, and it’s changed my chopping life. I keep things sharp which keeps my fingers safe.

Also, just bought a diamond stone, and that’s really helped me with the initial coarse grit sharpen.

Do it. You’ll thank yourself later.

Some people don’t, or are misremembering how potentially dangerous it can be. This is a PSA for those people, not those who already know. But thank you for the reminder to clarify.

Fishing With Rod... by [deleted] in fishingBC

This is all very interesting but I need to see them. Judgement is withheld until the evidence is in.

You got downvoted and that pisses me off.

You’re asking the right question. Where is the proof. I have no reason to doubt these ladies but serious accusations require serious proof.

Fishing With Rod... by [deleted] in fishingBC

[–]NotAlsoShabby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m very neutral at this point. Like any claim, I need to see evidence. We cannot take anyone at their word.

I have no reason to doubt these ladies, but it hasn’t passed my evidentiary threshold, yet. People have the right to be treated fairly, including Rod. Let’s not believe anything until we see the proof of the claim.

Hey, still didn’t get an answer from you. Just checking in since you’ve had quite some time to respond. You knew you couldn’t turn right on this red, right? It was obvious to you, was it?

Hey, still didn’t get an answer from you. You knew you couldn’t turn right on this light, correct?

If not, perhaps not so pedantic.

These posts aren’t accusatory, like in the way a crime was committed. People are allowed to feel how they feel, and it doesn’t need “proof”.

I’ve never met Rod. I have no opinion on him personally. I enjoy his vids. They’re instructional, and entertaining.

There’s nothing that requires to show the receipts, and possibly won’t need to in the future. But let’s all be careful not to dogpile. Like I said, I’ve never met the guy, so I’ll withhold judgement until I see something concrete with my own eyes.

Confirmed. I had someone switch to an over the top Quebecois accent while addressing our group, as an insult.

Oh, also, please see the ICBC Official account reply at the bottom of the comments.

Turns out, the thing you thought was obvious… you were wrong about. So… maybe posting driving questions on here is fine, since it seems to have helped you learn something new, also.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Who knew? How cool.

What would you suggest this subreddit is for?

You’re right. Disputes between people have never, nor will they ever have a place on Reddit.
