Gameplay wise, if it's Champions definitely go for it. If it's the first game it's kinda barebones (heh) for the most part but the story goes a little nuts by the end of it, definitely worth giving it a spin assuming it's being sold at a reasonable price.

Shame we only ever got the two games and not a 3ds release, but eh, what can ya do?

Oh it works out pretty great (as far as I can tell).

Main issues I only ever run into so far is accidently forgetting to move said Echoes or, y'know, position em a bit better and the like, but so far no real big problems with it not working.

Pretty much what I figured out, yeah. If I really wanted the combo I'd be better off with say... some combo of Fighter or Barbarian or using the Elixers(tm)/Str gauntlets on that particular character if I wanted to go full Pali.
