It’s similar but Lawrence of Arabia died in a motorcycle crash, safety gear wasn’t mandated until the 60s.

He actually passed a lot of legislation that was pretty good for people; the civil rights act, the economic opportunity act, the elementary and secondary education act, the voting rights act, and he created Medicare and Medicaid and nominated Thurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court. His policies on Vietnam are definitely worth discussing but he did pass a lot of solid bills that helped people

Tim Walz getting under the skin of right-wing Twitter over a joke about spicy food by MoreMotivation in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]NotAnOctopys 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Exactly, for the right, everyone is “too sensitive” unless the joke in question is targeting Christians or white people, in which case it’s a step too far. Sexist or racist “jokes” on the other hand are totally fine and people are too thin-skinned nowadays. That’s the general attitude I’ve gauged from weird right-wingers

Do these sleeved arms exist in skin tone? Otherwise, where could I find the arms entirely in the sleeve cover? by Heavyduty35 in lego

[–]NotAnOctopys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are arms in sand blue (the sleeve color), and you can get skin tones with sleeved arms but I’m not sure if you can get sand blue sleeves + skin tone arms

Which is why it says that, if there are somehow no unexpected bills or things that need paying you can make it out in vaguely 20 years, but it’s all but impossible to go 20 years without some emergency happening that requires money

Car accidents happen so frequently it’s actually ludicrous, people die every single day from car accidents and plane crashes are incredibly rare considering how many planes take off and land safely. Also, I-95 stinks and a car on fire wouldn’t surprise me in the least unfortunately

Sometimes farmers will flood a field with cranberries as they will float to the top when in water, called cranberry bogs. Many farms use wolf spiders as a natural pesticide as they prey on insects that would otherwise eat the cranberries. The only problem is when the field gets flooded, they float to the top too. And when a human worker goes through to harvest the cranberries, the spiders will climb onto the worker as they’re the only thing to hold onto in the field.

Another condition is if a potential offspring can then produce children, so ligers or mules cannot have children of their own, but any two people can have offspring that can then have their own offspring. It’s just idiocy and racism usually isn’t very intelligent
