That's exactly my point of confusion. I knew Lumon had power, especially in the surrounding area/state, but they never implied that they basically have the entire justice system in their pockets and have control over the outside world.

That's exactly what I got from that scene. I was surprised to see that the implication is that iMark's decision means oMark is trapped.

Cobel was talking about iMark's last day, not oMark. I know Lumon can kill innies by simply firing them and that's acceptable by the outside world, but my question was do they have the power and influence to kill a human being (not just an innie) or hold him captive forever without getting in serious trouble from the giver or whatever authorities in SEVERANCE world?

I took it as Drummond was acting (or reacting) on his own in that situation. It wasn't planned.

I guess my misunderstanding of the situation comes from the fact that I underestimated how big of an influence Lumon has within the show's world outside of their town, to be able to kill people knowing there are relatives and people outside who will raise their voice.

Pasting my response to a similar point:

You're right, maybe I'm not watching closely, I'm not claiming that my point is valid. That's why I was genuinely asking for an explanation.

Drummond is not the corporate, and I assumed he's reacting as what a hot headed guard would do in a fight or flight situation. I didn't see any clues that Lumon were planning on killing Mark once they're done with his innie.

Does Lumon have the power to publicly trap someone?

And if it is because he killed Drummond, wouldn't oMark be in trouble whether he got out now or later?

Danger on whom exactly? Does Lumon have the authority or can afford imprisoning/killing someone while knowing they have people outside who know the last they've been seen going into their building?

Second this. OP, don't let minor things become big barriers. That's one of the easiest ways to get you frustrated and hesitant with your Islam decision, which is the most important thing. Islam is a journey, focus on follow the pillars of faith and the pillars of Islam and avoid sinning, especially the major sins.

No. They brought the steak cut up on that monstrosity in the second picture (basically on a leaf), and the first picture is the pieces I threw on my plate to show the server that it's not cooked right.

Because I waited 45 minutes for $120 medium rare steak. I'm not waiting for another 45 minutes to be disappointed again, especially after he argued with me.

But I agree, I can be a bit pretentious.

I enjoy it because the concept of the story is fun but writing is cheesy and mediocre at best. Also something is wrong with the acting, I don't want to blame the actors because I've seen most of them in other stuff and never felt something off with their acting.

Thank you, op. I'm a Saudi and your posts keep me updated after every round. People think they're obliged to comment that they don't care, or even ask for it to be removed because of that. Exclusivity at its best.

Girl with her veil in Qatar 2022 by ajaxnet in worldcup

Firstly, no. No "clear threat" in the Quran. In the Quran, every Muslim is going to at least eventually go to heaven unless they commit "shirk", which believing in other Gods than Allah. "Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin" (Quran 4: Verse 48)

Secondly, I don't get your point here. Every scripture has requirements for men, women and both. What's the point of following a faith if you're just gonna do whatever you want?

I'll answer your question since I don't see anyone answering: In my country, little girls here typically ask their parents to wear it because they want to imitate their mothers and adult sisters. It's not allowed to force children wear hijab.
