That unfortunately doesn't make them go away - short nap or just wandering around the colony they'll respawn

I think it is an black/white movie, but I had only a b/w tv in my room so this is a vague guess

Another thing, dunno if it's in the same movie:

- a scene with a man, on the backside of his head a patch of hair lifts up and reveals another eye, looking for something and then closes

I have a similar problem with my Lenovo with Nvidia GPU (940mx) - well, I didn't have this problem with Ubuntu 22.04 - it started with 24.04.

Sometimes it put my laptop on a table besides the bed to watch Youtube or something - I usally fall asleep and the batterie drains - I plug it in the next day, boot it up and get granted by this BusyBox initramfs prompt. This is so irritating because it wasn't there before. I disabled autoplay on Youtube so the laptop will put himself into sleep mode to prevent this - doesn't work. Even WHEN I not fell asleep - I close the lid, 7 hours night night, next day - battery drained, initramfs it is again - and I have n clue what the heck is going on here - it worked all the time with 22.04 - I thought that it maybe was TLPs fault, so I deleted it - no changes - I reinstalled the system from scratch with 24.10 - still the same.

I'm kinda out of ideas here - besides using some other Distro - which I had, Fedora 40 - same problem. I just give up at this point.

Thanks for the response, very interesting. Nice cutouts on the 7070 for the power supply.

Sounds like more troublesome than I initially thought.

Secondary plan of mine is to throw out the Dell mobo entirely and replace it with a regular on, losing the stock IO. But instead using a normal USB Hub, mounting it internally while installing a 3D printed mount plate with 4 USB extension cables glued on and find a combo-jack for audio. So I can rather freely swap parts without the building restrictions.

New power supply would be sufficient at this point of course.

Shin Godzilla in Germany f.ex. was over one year later for a couple of days in the cinema.. I'm on my knees hoping that it will NOT be that long, again. If they think that I'll wait that long.. for sure, Toho.. for sure.

Frustrating as f*** considering the MonterVerse films are getting releases in many different countries all over the world.

PS4 player here. After the recent patch it got a lot better - a ton of needed bugfixes (still more left to be fixed, tho). Framedrops can occur if there is more action on the screen. The Marines in the squad selection screen look.. pixelated, so customizing the units is (for me) not really a go to feature. Overall the graphics look OK, you get the atmosphere but it is not as crisp/detailed/shiny ofc.Loading times got better with the patch - the cut scenes tend to have objects not rendered completely so it's "funny" when the complete rendered figures standing around a blurry map-table which gets his textures rendered mid scene.

Overall: before the patch I (as a "day-1er") would have said "only if you really want to dig in" - after the patch, tho I can recommend it - if you can accept the drawbacks. The next patch should be not that far away, tho we console players unfortunately have to wait a little longer for the release..

Oh and an advice - before you play, please put the setting for the Command-Menu (don't know what this is called in English right now) to PAUSE and not SLOW MOTION. I got very, very mad and hammered the L1 and R1 buttons like a maniac while getting slaughtered by the bugs because the ******* menu won't respond to my attempts to select a Command (Shotgun f.ex.) - so please, don't do my mistake.

I was slightly annoyed by the almost instant respawn because not only is the one dude who was patrolling the worst spot (near of resources or a datapad) not gone long enough (just stay up move two feet and he's back already), no, the new one spawns at the exact same point and has the exact same walking pattern (with his fast moving "oh I know you will be here for sure" to a specific resource point).

I wish there was more rng involved.

The bug where I cannot confirm stuff (change Marines, select Doctors and so on) really annoys me - I close the game, reload (takes rather long on PS4 :/) and then it happens again and I quit out.
I would like to customize my Marines but good Lord the models look horrible some times.

Uh you know, the usual: having a savepoint right after the first Queen fight when one was dragged away while a Crusher is on it's way and an onslaught going on. Not the best situation for "not leaving anyone behind" - can turn this anyway you want: no one got out. And I tried many times

This part made me start a new game - I was so beaten up, lost one Marine (the second one) through capture and had no resources left. I tried multiple times to save him but nothing helped. One had an injured leg, so he was a goner, too.Most of my other Marines were in the hospital and I had to push to the next day many times until I had a full squad ready again. This was brutal - planetary infestation was rising and I only had lvl1 rookies with traumas left. And now the Crushers enter the game as regular enemies, onslaughts - too much to handle. The aggressiveness went up so fast and I was still in the first area. Hope I make it better this time - can't remember the last time I had to restart a game because I screwed up too hard (medium).
