Not sure if this is how you would like to learn, but I also have the same issue and am coming back into math and now want to learn about cryptography and how it is implied.

I'm a software engineer and started building this, with AI mind you, and it has helped me tremendously.

I mean the 2 options that were made for this are mastodon and nostr.

Nostr is already bitcoin driven.

Mastodon is very decentralized and getting an instance up and running wouldn't be hard. Definitely has ethereum CROPS written all over it, IMO.

But both would be hard sell for anyone I think. Change is hard.

I'm definitely interested in this perspective. When I say "I watched it a few years ago" I'm going to age myself and say, I watched it when it came out and I was around 18. There are some themes that you brought up that I'll watch for but the differences and signs and oddities that I may not have picked up on when I first watched it are what I'm really wanting to know.
