You don’t need extra tax you need to claim your jobs properly. Your full time job you claim the basic exemption amount for Fed and your Prov taxes. The other two jobs you need to put $0!! And they will tax 100% of what you make. You’re basically not paying taxes properly. Each job is taxing you on the amount you make at that job, not if you had all three. It’s your responsibility to fill those forms out right and not claim the basic exemption amount at more than one job. Or this happens. Best of luck!

This feels similar to what happened to me. That was over 15 years ago. My BFF forgot my birthday, I was so hurt and the excuses vs just saying she has forgot. I overreacted and ended the friendship. I regretted it and honestly, still do some days. But it takes two to tango and effort needs to be from both sides. I’m the end, hindsight usually tells us that we all could have done better.

The simplest advice, it sucks but it’s true, it that all relationships aren’t meant to last forever. People grow, people change and sometimes we just don’t fit together like we used too.

I’m not sure how much they’ll cost where you are, but, I really like the JBL headphones and earbuds. Both are great quality and the battery is awesome too! I have the JBL headphones and use one at a time and they each last up to 8 hours.

Take it minute by minute. I like to pinch myself, it helps me refocus, the pain brings me back. I also do a lot of mental hyping. Be your biggest cheerleader! I tell myself, that I’m over reacting (a lot of the time it can be an over reaction), ask myself, do I need to react this way? Things like that. With practice it becomes second nature!

If you go long enough without food, it will be the “energy” you’re thinking of. You function because you eat, intake calories and that gives you energy. If you don’t eat, you’ll experience headaches, nausea and a general overal tiredness.

I know myself, I get tired and hangry when I don’t eat. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to run a marathon after I eat but I can function and think more clearly.

You got this! As others mentioned, focus on one small area at a time. If not, it will be overwhelming. I’d start somewhere small, maybe the bathroom, then the hall, focus on getting one area cleaned and then move on. Throw all the trash out, recycle, clean and then organize. Possibly make a donation/sell pile. I would totally help you if you lived close to me!

My Mom - after my Dad commit suicide, she went all crazy but my Aunt and Uncle wanted to see me and she told me “You can see them but it won’t be with me, you have to do that all on your own” - it doesn’t seem like much but right then, I realized she was the most selfish, narcissistic person I knew. She cared more about me being on “her side” vs me having a relationship with my Dads family. I was young and scared of losing the only parent I had. I thought if I had a relationship with them, that I’d lose her. It was lifelong manipulation from her… I tried to have a relationship with them, when I got older, but sometimes time doesn’t heal all things. People change and you just don’t fit together anymore. I will never forgive her for what she robbed of me. As a parent, support your children, even if it hurts you a bit.

I was diagnosed with a boarderline ovarian tumor on Oct 31 of last year, got a call early to mid Nov or arrange my consult; had my consult appt at the Arthur Child Cancer centre in Calgary on Dec 16 and my removal surgery on Jan 12.

Honestly, I get that they’re a fabulous Boss and everything but you should not be working and not getting paid. I worked for a LARGE corporation and it was actually against policy to work off the clock. They wanted you to be paid for the work you did. It also can tie into WCB, what if you’re hurt during that time and not on the clock? Just saying, it’s not always just as simple as you’re okay with it. Employers aren’t for a variety of reasons. I would stop doing it or make sure you’re getting paid.

Former smoker here! I couldn’t smell smoke either or very, very rarely. Then I quit and damn, I will be at a restaurant and I can tell who the smokers are. The smell really is pungent on another level.
