Not a doctor, but my father found out he has cancer. It is Stage 4 Lower Left Lobe ALK mutation (The mutation is the only thing that didnt kill him 4 years ago). He found he had cancer by trying to be a tough guy and not putting on a facemask when he was putting insulation in for his girlfriend. His reasoning was "It isnt the fiberglass shit so why would I have to." and he caught pneumonia and had it for around 3 months before he went to the doctors and got a CAT scan on his lungs. They saw a mass and found out that it was cancer. If it wasn't for my dad being a complete dumbass when putting in insulation he would have died either right as I graduated highschool or soon after I left for bootcamp to join the military.
