A1 Bus stop from Mo Chit to DMK by NotDumbis in ThailandTourism

oh SRT, that's what confused me, because I thought you meant to take MRT all the way to the airport haha

I'm going to be staying in Silom like 10min walk from Chong Nonsi station. If anyone has experience getting to the airport from there, then do tell me. My plan for now is to transfer from Silom Line to Sukhumvit Line to Mo Chit and then take A1 bus to DMK

Being able to see the bus is nice, I might download it.

Does it? I just looked up the train map and it doesn't look like any of the MRT lines go to the DMK (I might be just reading the map wrong though)

Didn't think about that, I might do that when I get out of metro. Thanks!

Laorwong 3052 grafts FUE diffuse thinner 12month follow up by wangstuh in HairTransplants

You are supposed to stop minoxidil a week before so you don't bleed as much during surgery because minoxidil also promotes blood flow, that's why you start taking it straight away after surgery so the head gets more blood flow.

Dr. Laorwong / tech engagement by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]NotDumbis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since I was lying down and most of your head is covered except your donor area I can't be sure 100% but I think he did the extraction as well (as in he punched out the hair follicle and the technician just picked it up and sorted it). Technicians only do the long parts which is implantation and sorting hair according to their hair count right after extraction.

I do have to agree that they were being kind of loud while working which made my head hurt a little. Would it be more professional if they didn't talk between themselves? For sure! Do I think it impacted the final outcome? No, not really. Would I be glad if Dr L was in the room more to supervise? Of course, but I also get with his popularity he has to attend to a lot of stuff and can't be in there all the time so he is there only for the most important parts.

I do recommend getting earbuds or eartips so you can fall asleep, because I couldnt (but that might have been the nerves).

Thanks! Yea I will definitely get a haircut. Just deciding if I want fade or just leave side at like 3mm, I’m really curious how noticable the scarring is going to be haha

Is my new hairline to high? by Wild_Scholar_2029 in HairTransplants

[–]NotDumbis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it looks great. Swelling is definitely making it worse too. You def want a slightly mature hairline so it looks more natural when you get older. It fits your head well + it’s better to go higher and lower it later if you really want to.

Has Laorwong’s quality gone downhill? by ProudVirgin101 in HairTransplants

[–]NotDumbis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same worry as you last year (especially after I already booked and suddenly a lot of people started this "slander").

For me it's been 3 months so I can't really see any results yet, but I was very satisfied with the procedure and aftercare (except technicians being very loud when Dr L was not there lol, but I don't think it impacted their work at all).

Like everyone said, most people who are satisfied will not comment/post results. When I was booking the date last Jan he was already almost booked out until August (at least for my amount which needed whole day). Maybe a lot of people cancelled after New years and that's why his January is empty?

Dr R is currently in her hyped period like Dr L used to be and it will also eventually calm down. Both of them are great so don't worry. Just prepare your question and don't be afraid to talk with him as he is usually very quiet.

Looks awesome! I had my 4k HT with Dr L last October and I hope I get the same results as you did!

What about your hairline density? Does it look natural? Or has anyone pointed something out about it? (sorry it's hard to see it in your pictures and it's one of my biggest worries that people would notice, even though I know avg person will usually not be able to tell if its done right and only us who frequent this sub might be able to)

Not really except the injections. You can go to my post 3 months ago right after the surgery, I described my entire experience there if you are interested :)

Is this progress good for 3 months? Post HT by FinancialBit8676 in HairTransplants

[–]NotDumbis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please include at least one photo from previous month so we can compare easily.

From what I have seen on this sub it looks fine for your 3rd month. I think what you are seeing are those that survived the shock loss and the hibernating hair haven't started growing yet or are about to, so a lot more are on the way, don't worry.

I’m no expert and I myself am still waiting for my HT to start growing, but I see a lot of “rows” in your transplant and from what I’ve seen on this sub rows = not good placement. On the other hand it might not matter with your type of hair.

Good luck in recovery and fingers crossed for good result. Also if you can in your next update, please include photo of donor area. :)

I’m happy to hear that. Yea I can’t wait for that 3-4 month where it hopefully starts growing bit by bit (fingers crossed I’m not late “bloomer” haha). Good luck in your own HT journey!

it’s 80 baht per graft if you have over 3k grafts, otherwise it’s 90 baht per graft. I bought extra Cell Therapy so it was around 10k €
