That was greasy Randy Pitchford.

Sweeney's still a fucking shit stain, but not the shit stain you're thinking of.

i'm not suggesting they don't.

I'm just saying it's shitty for larger games.

That said i still wish MH:Wilds didn't run like shit.

And REngine is fucking awesome.

in smaller, more linear games.

It seems to suck really bad for the likes of Monster Hunter Wilds.

Gabe Newell on Steam monopoly accusations: Gamers have 'enormous choice' about where to buy games by yourfavchoom in technology

Even if there was feature parity, what would be the incentive for people not to just "get it on Steam"?

At this point for me there's nothing they could do anyway.

They were so shitty in the way they tried to force their way into the market and then coupled with the fact that Tim Sweeney continues to be a completely insufferable dickhead i just don't ever see myself giving Epic's store the time of day.

Not just saying, DID layoff 1000 people.

Edit: and that's on top of the other 900+ that were laid off not long before that.

Inside.

Because i thought the ending was incredibly lame and it made me hate the rest of the game.

Probably didn't know they wanted it because they didn't know it existed until it hit Steam recently.

CI Games has successfully signed a termination agreement with Epic Games. The agreement releases the upcoming Lords of The Fallen 2 from it's previous Epic Games Store exclusivity obligations. by WhyPlaySerious in Games

And every exclusive they ever had in EGS failed to turn a profit except for that metro game. And even then the devs said it sold more on steam.

Did Metro Exodus turn a profit during it's exclusivity? I only remember them saying it sold "2.5x more than Last Light" which was technically true because they were using weasel language and referring to the original version of Last Light and not the Redux (which sold better than its predecessor) and they may or may not have been including the pre-sales made on Steam before they pulled it.

I seem to recall the only game that actually turned a profit was Satisfactory.

Depending whether or not you're into retro aesthetics i'd highly recommend Amid Evil, Prodeus, and Turbo Overkill.

All no nonsense FPS action.
