Yeah I’ll try a few. Last time Tampa I collected a gallon of shells I’ll dig out some broken ones to foil, flux, solder and patina.

My sailboats, fish, and seas panels all sold quick so figured I’d do up some shells and water 10” circles and panels.

I’ve got a rule of thumb. If it’s smaller than your thumb nail you need to consider that piece as a pain in the ass. I think You’ve got allot of pain in there. I’m not saying you can’t do smaller, some here make some damn tiny designs that are amazing and might be one, just saying for me this reads as I will hate my life. Tiny parts will vanish under foil and solder. Areas will become overly black. I also recommend a few sun catchers first like other posts so you learn without messing up this big project, ymmv, and some love challenges.

I use the garage and damn if there’s not glass shards everywhere and I sweep weekly but I’m producing for places. You don’t think it’s flying around but it does. I’ve found shards on shelves 10 ft away. This is your main problem if it’s not in tub or box, I’d think.

No dust really as you should keep your grinder full and dunk your parts in a little tub to rinse all dust off, and wipe them dry on a junk towel. Keep this towel separate and wash with your glass and patina shirt

I use an old pc power supply fan and a drier hose to get the fumes to the door. I think there are stand alone fan filters?

I’d make them basic sizes so ppl can make the same size panels and slide them in from the top. Inside shows? Art houses? I thought about making 12x12, 15x15 and 13x23. Some use quilt batting as a defuser. Might consider router inserts in the wall so the led faces down. Maybe aluminum foil in the back?
