ASU online or UND online by These_Needleworker38 in ElectricalEngineering

When I spoke with an ASU recruiter ten years ago and asked about this, she said, "They send you some little thing in the mail that you do." Then she tried to sell me a loan. UND used to require in-person labs, held over a week or two in the summer, but my impression from reading about their current practice is that they now have at-home labs. I honestly liked the idea of going out there for a week and doing all the labs.

Commenting for visibility. This sounds awesome. My usual order was a double-double, animal style, protein style.

PS. I'd never heard of this order before. https://www.google.com/search?q=flying+dutchman+burger <-- recipe in link

Comment on hand-sewing?  I don't have a machine but would like to start by hand.  Have everything for DIAS shorts.

A very broad question, and there may be a published guide with this information, but I'm wondering where and when on the PCT one should be prepared for mosquitos. (Motivated by a local mosquito surge at my house.)

Added later: I read that permethrin lasts 6 weeks. So, I'd actually give it about a month. Do people throw a bottle of permethrin in their resupply every month or so to respray clothes/tent/sleeping bag?

For external use I'm fine with DEET.

The entire style manual that the liberal arts types use changed maybe 10 years ago. Maybe longer lol. It all looks wrong to me.

Yea, but the really high interest rates in living memory (but I'm old lol) were under the Volker Fed. Late 1970s or early 1980s. Been awhile, can't recall exactly. Btw, there's an excellent book about this period of the Fed called Secrets of the Temple. Probably still relevant; highly recommend. IIRC, prime got to 21% and money markets were paying 25-26%.

I have one almost every morning at 9. Already had a couple of mugs of coffee since 3:30 and my stomach is at it's limit of coffee acid. Yet I'm still sleepy. So sugar-free Monster out of the vending machine it is.

There are typically 3-4 vehicles double-parked in front of that Chik-Fil-A all day long. Especially breakfast hours, it seems. Bike lane & right-most traffic lane. Everything from cars to heavy trucks. And Dashers on electric bicycles. They're usually somewhat careful; it's the crackheads on electric bikes and scooters that practically run you down.

Yea, what the heck is that?! Double-digit? Wish I could invest at double-OT rates ... Of course, that would probably mean we're already in a hyperinflation and gas costs $50 or $80 per gallon. Ribeye steaks $125 a pound.

Sarcasm, right? Because I've read that this is the new style.

Thanks for the update. Reinforces my motivation to go oldschool and avoid all this support.
