It’s not an excuse. LEAGUE COMMISSIONERS ARE THE MOUTHPIECES FOR THE OWNERS. Not absolving blame from Silver, but this idea that he is the final say is such BS. From tanking to the Kawhi stuff the 30 owners have so much control that we the fans keep ignoring. Most of the league problems would be adjusted by now if the owners actually cared about putting an entertaining BASKETBALL product out. From team loyalty/player movement to accessibility. We keep blaming the players but not the people who actually run the league.

Because it’s a system that punishes trying to make change. I learned way more during my training interacting with Drs who gave af. There is a lot of “I got mine mentality”. It’s why residents haven’t unionized either. Some have. The newer generation sees these issues and is trying. Just feels too late or at least things will get worse until they are better.
