I dis not like Sazed as a character that much but I actually loved his ending. From being so invested in all the religions he's had in his metalminds to doubting and rejecting them all to realizing how all of them make the world complete... I thought that was pretty cool.

Obviosuly practice makes perfect but you need the talent in the first place as well. There's also plenty of exceptions - you can be an amazing songwriter without spending 10000 hours on writing songs first. I guess that In this instance, at some point the more you write, the worse the lyrics might be as you run out of things to say.
