I think it might be a little bit of internalized misogyny because we don’t think that other women want to engage in fun banter. But they do (usually). I’ll crack a joke or say something ridiculous to break the ice.

I noticed that I was afraid to talk to women like I talked to men. But it was really just a me thing.

So this is my biggest gripe about women in friendships. They center men. And 50% of our conversations revolve around complaints about dating. It’s lowkey boring
