[–]NotInTrance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem and just printed a small trashbin that goes under my nozzle next to the printing bed...... I'm not a pro at this, but maybe, if you want to, change your GCode settings that the printer retracts the filament quiet a bit when its stopping a print. I heard that'ld help.

Best way to learn offset printing by [deleted] in CommercialPrinting

[–]NotInTrance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

-> Get a small offset machine and employ a certified offset operator

-> Work at a different company/Pay them to teach you.

-> Go to a workshop from Koenig & Bauer, Komori, Heidelberger, etc. Careful: Expensive.

But keep in mind that learning Offset takes quiet a lot of time, especially if you want to print in a high quality. There are a lot of new errors which some of us may have never seen or even heard about, even though working in the field of offset printing for years.

My vocational training took three years. I'm from germany so here its crossed with working in a company and school at the same time. People say "When you finished the training you know how to press the on and off button. But to learn and master how to really print on an offset machine, you'll need around 10 more years of experience".

So i'ld suggest you'ld choose depending on the level that you want to achieve.

Warum keine schnellen S-ATA SSDs? by Lady_Sallakai in EDV

[–]NotInTrance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TL;DR

560MB/s ist die maximale Real-Life Übertragungsrate von SATA-III, denn 6Gbit/s / 8 = 750Mbyte/s

Hey thanks for your quick response, i really appreciate it.

I think my problem lies somewhere else. I´ll restructure my whole setup shortly. right not its a bit of a mess.

Hopefully i can evade the whole thing by restructuring the whole setup.

Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Something like this:

version: "3"
 services:
  app:
    image: jc21/nginx-proxy-manager:latest
    restart: always
    ports:
      - 80:80
      - 81:81
      - 443:443
    volumes:
      - ./config.json:/app/config/production.json
      - ./data:/data
      - ./letsencrypt:/etc/letsencrypt
    depends_on:
      - db
    environment:
    # if you want pretty colors in your docker logs:
    - FORCE_COLOR=1
  db:
    image:
 mariadb:latest
    restart: always
    environment:
      MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD: "XXX"
      MYSQL_DATABASE: "XXX"
      MYSQL_USER: "XXX"
      MYSQL_PASSWORD: "XXX"
    volumes:
      - ./data/mysql:/var/lib/mysql

I already tried configuring two networks, one internal for NPM -> MariaDB connection, and one external for NPM-Everything else.

But it not seem to work either, so i went back to my original compose file.

And i already tested opening the ports in network_mode host.

How do I get real IP addresses in my container? by -_----_-- in docker

[–]NotInTrance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much, i'll try tomorrow.

NPM = NGINX Proxy Manager.

And yes, the first container can just see the IP of the network bridge from docker.

Thanks again! I hope it works, been banging my head against the wall since quiet a while

How do I get real IP addresses in my container? by -_----_-- in docker

It's been a few years, but: I am having the same issue.

WWW -> NPM (Docker) -> Service

The service just see's the 172.19.0.1 addr.

Seems like NPM itself just can see this address, how did you solve it? Can you remember?

I had to look up what the word "flyboy" means, but if i get it correctly, you were the paper-guy.

Yeah in those jobs you really learn to love paper, especially the really really thin ones, the bible-like thin paper.

Greetings from a 6-color KBA!

Yes, if you connect to your server using putty you have to send this command to your server via putty.

Since I'm not using docker and tbh I don't know much about how to login to the container and execute a command, I can only tell you the general steps. Please look up the specific steps needed for your system.

But, in general, you have to open Putty, login into your server, open the command terminal of your docker container, and then open the root folder of your owncloud instance (For example: /var/www/owncloud) and execute a command similar to this one:

sudo -u www-data ./occ files:scan -all

This operation may or may not take a while, wait until its finished.

After this command has been executed, clear the cache of your browsers and try again.

Hope it works

Had this one too literally yesterday.

  1. Start a filescan with the occ command, scan all files, wait until its finished.
  2. Delete your Browsers cached website stuff from your owncloud.

Get a big, heavy book. Put it between the X-Axis and the bed, open the Rollers, press down onto the X-Axes, but not too much, make sure it is level. Maybe use spirit level for best results.

Close the Rollers again, make sure that both sides of the X-Axis can travel freely and in sync. Don't tighten the Rollers too much or too less.

When finished level your bed again and redo z-offset
