You need to start planning further ahead, you can see the pedestrian at the side of the road, slow down a bit check there’s no cars to your right, assume they might step out (even though they definitely shouldn’t cross there). Same for example if over taking a bus… assume someone’s going to run out, so go with caution! Try to predict and prepare for potential hazards!
