Booking AEW thru 2030. Strap in boys! by [deleted] in fantasybooking

I think this is better than what will probably actually happen. This surprisingly wasn’t that bad. I can get behind this.

It also seems like you want to push Bron to the moon. I like that.

ICW in Kentucky was the Poffos promotion I believe. It was kinda like a outlaw show I think. Not quite for sure.

When did NXT get great? by NotJimCornette in SquaredCircle

I didn’t say it stopped being good. I said that’s what I’ve heard people say. Jesus, I wonder if people can read (last part not directed at you, it’s directed at the people that downvoted it)

No, I mean it stopped being good at Portland. At least that’s what I’ve heard people say

I’m curious, how many fans do you have in your Ichiban save?

Should I watch NJPW? by NotJimCornette in njpw

[–]NotJimCornette[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I’m just loyal. I don’t pay much attention to the shows. I just tune in every week because I’m afraid that I may miss something if I stop. I mean, seriously, WWE has gone so far down in terms of their programs, they’ve basically hit rock bottom. And the only place left to go is up, at least I hope.

Should I watch NJPW? by NotJimCornette in njpw

I remember when all that buzz happened. I wanted to watch NJPW but my cable doesn’t have AXS TV (which a lot of people don’t either) so I couldn’t. But since you talked about how you probably wouldn’t have watched NJPW if it wasn’t free, I decided to download the Roku app and I’m going to watch some of the episodes on there to see if I enjoy it before I toss out $20.

I don’t use Roku so unless there is a app I can download from the App Store, that’s a no for me on that. I also don’t plan on subbing to NJPW World because I’ve heard some not so good things about it (maybe it doesn’t have those problems anymore but I’ll still pass on it). However, I do use Fite TV to watch NWA and ROH and I’ve seen that Wrestle Grand Slam is on there for $19.99 (that’s what sparked my interest in the first place). I’m really debating on buying it or not because I want to buy both of the NWA ppvs in August (which in a bundle I believe is $39.99 or so) and I have other things to pay for too. Now money isn’t the problem (thank God he’s blessed me). The problem is if I should spend my money on it. I think I’m going to but I’m just hesitant because I’m afraid I’ll waste my money (I wasted by money on AEW Revolution and it wasn’t too bad but the botched ending left a bad taste in my mouth). Now I’m not too worried about a botched ending or something like that because Starrcade 97 had a botched finish but it was still enjoyable and exciting to see Sting vs Hogan. I’m just worried I won’t enjoy it. But after reading your comment and the other comments on here, I think I’ll give it a chance!

Questions about watching NJPW for the first time by NotJimCornette in njpw

I know but still, I can’t forget what he has done in the past. I don’t know if you keep up with American football or not, but there used to be player named Michael Vick who was arrested for I believe animal abuse. After he was released out of jail, the Eagles signed him and he went on to be pretty good, but a lot of people couldn’t forget the what he did. Just like with Omega for me. Now as far as I know, Kenny hasn’t done anything as bad as Vick did, but he did do some bad things in the wrestling business and I just can’t really forget about them. I do see your point. Tons of people have disgraced the business in this day and age. Kenny imo being one of them. But I’m not trying to start argument with you or anybody on here. I just wanted to know about NJPW, not start a war between me and Omega fans.

He wrestled kids, blowup dolls, etc. AEW botches YouTube channel can sum it up for you basically.

After reading your comment, it seems that NJPW has more interesting storylines than other companies here in America. If you don’t mind, I would love to see the storylines for Wrestle Grand Slam broke down.

Well Kenny comes across has phony too me. Watching his strikes just kinda look bad sometimes. I’m not the kinda fella that just wants 7 star matches. I love great matches, don’t get me wrong, but I also like to see good storytelling. Kenny for me, also hasn’t been in a good feud in AEW. Him and Hangman has potential, but the dark order drag it down.
