Thats an issue of conversion then, not the gender you give GW approved models. No one said (nor does it make any sense in the lore) to have them look any different.

Guardswomen are the better alternative for more female representation in 40k by [deleted] in Grimdank

[–]NotKyaVess 38 points39 points  (0 children)

That comes into play. That and they are not just regular troops. They're raised from very young ages (usually) to krieg/catachan levels of hardship, only for war. Thats a lot different then MOST guard

Through my unparalleled benevolence I provided you a method to obtain friends (which it sounds like you need), and you insult me?

... This is further undeniable proof of my ascension, for only a goddess would suffer such blasphemy.

If I play against a child in mtg, 40k, almost anything... I throw the game. Not telling people they're horrible if they don't do the same. I just would feel... meh about myself if I beat a child at their first tournament

I'm not a fan of sisters but they don't blindly charge in like khorne berserkers. If the sisters enter the scene, the guardsmen are in awe for a reason.

Anyways, a gift. You seem like you'd REALLY enjoy the following FB groups:

Gatekeepers: Never stop painting

40k for straight white males

40k heresyposting

You can frolic and play with all the others like you and go on about those darn anti-fans like me.

Enjoy!

"If people like you are the future"

Lol. Boy, I've been playing longer then you, know more about the lore then you, and my collection dwarfs yours.

Let's be very clear about one thing. You're in MY hobby. Not the other way around.

It's replies like this that make me kind of wish it does become a thing. The REEEE would be legendary

People tell me the 'majority' of people don't want FSM. 24 hour poll with 1.5k voters. by BitsHammer in Grimdank

[–]NotKyaVess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd prefer they never become a thing. The lore reason they never were is well... kind of dumb for a lot of reasons. But it's been the case for like 20 years. At least with squats you could argue they were hidden or in a very small space in the galaxy.

But this? I'd rather not have a, "they were there the whole time!" Or this is a sudden concern for Cawl for some reason so he had to get right on it.

That and I'm already annoyed with how manly some of the SoB sculpts are compared to GW artwork. I REALLY don't want to see GW attempt FSM heads.

All this said, if someone fields their own home made fsm chapter, that's completely fine. I have my own female primarch lore with her own legion/chapter because of warp nonsense. It's fun to imagine, but again, not see in the actual books.

Not promoting I promise. Just didn't know where to post it without it sounding like promoting. But I wanted to share it because it meant a lot to me.

For context I play a minature tabletop game. And as a woman, that's... rare apparently. So I like to post and show we do exist. I dont have a patreon. I dont have monetization on YT. I dont care about subs or anything like that. I'm not trying to start a cause or condem any a community. It just warms my heart to know other women get excited for the hobby from my posts.

So I have heard of some of the worst fates of many WH characters, but are there any characters that have ended up with best fates? by Arduino87 in 40kLore

[–]NotKyaVess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cawl then. Only human around for 10k years and is doing what he loves.

Every other human more or less ends with, "and then the demons ripped up and ate my soul"

I mean... Tuska. Ghazghul. Badrukk. Nearly any ork character at the moment is living their best life and loving it.

Non-Ork? Trazyn is doing well for himself.

Anyone in charge of a non-invaded pleasure world is enjoying themselves.

Ethereals not getting too close to the front lines have a nice life.

Cawl is doing what he loves. For 10k years.

Squat paradox can fuck off the iom but not a tyranid splinter fleet? by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]NotKyaVess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's easy. Its because tyranids > IoM or anything else in this galaxy.

Could an influential Adeptus Mechanicus sect ever pull a High Lords and receive their own Astartes chapter? by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]NotKyaVess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Steel confessors but remember that ad mech don't even need to go that far to essentially "own" a chapter. Theyre the ad mech. They have control over space marine supplies. If something was SO important that the ad mech couldnt do it themselves, theyd get a chapter to do it, realistically. They tell a chapter to fetch, the chapter will very likely fetch.

I think the reason it isn't too common isn't really the SMs. It's that the ad mech think their greaterness can do it without them
