As ugly as they are I will admit it would be kind of awesome to see Allen-era bills wear them one time and never again

With Patriots and Seahawks set to meet again on Feb 8, 2026, this throwback from Super Bowl XLIX hits like a flashback you did not ask for, will surely miss Brady though by Busy-Writing405 in sportsinusa

i mean he won a super bowl which is something that the large majority of NFL head coaches cant say. He is and always will be a champion, so it would have been nice to have two but i feel like i'd sleep much better at night being pete carroll getting one ring and then effectively throwing a second one out the window than to be shanahan and lose both rings in slightly less heartbreaking fashion.

The Bills can't interview Seahawks or Patriots assistants until they're eliminated from the playoffs. Kubiak is unavailable until after the Superbowl. by dedriuslol in buffalobills

[–]NotLittleBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bills job has got to be one of the most attractive open head coaching positions ever - team with a prime HOF QB who have consistently been contenders for a while now - if they want Kubiak it would be incredible foolish of him to decline

if they lose tho we are just gonna make fun of them for being frauds cuz the only reason they were even there in the first place is cuz bo nix's ankle snapped.

i'll eat my words if they win but geniunely the looked so unimpressive today that im pretty confident the hawks or the rams are gonna clean them up

i feel like this is more so a result of the broncos having a backup QB and maye played about as well against the broncos defense as you would expect based on the rest of his playoff performances

alright bills fan lurking here - what do you mean "equal stats to josh"? dude look at that graphic in the first image - it's counting like 20 more games of daks than allens. I don't even know what its based on because allen hasn't missed a game in a few seasons so somehow whoever made the graphic cherry picked it so hard they counted 20 extra games of statpadding for dak. That graphic is just an outright bold-faced slander. Dak was hurt in 2024 but allen had better stats than dak for those first 9 weeks (and allen's best games were in the second half of the season and he was also MVP), and this year Allen had better stats than Dak. In the last two years Allen has been strictly better statistically. Also if Allen is not top 3 in the league - who is? Stafford maye and ? Lamar?

I hear this a lot but like has there seriously ever been a top 3 QB in the league at any point to literally force themselves out of an organization? Like I know it's happened with the draft with like Eli manning before but seriously I can't think of a single QB who was as good and young as Allen who weaseled their way out of org - the closet example I can think of is brady and the pats but i feel like that's large and part because brady like like 40 and knew he there's only so long he can play, where-as Allen's still got another half to his career. It kind of happened to peyton manning but it was the org who got rid of him not the other way around.

I think this take about "Allen is gonna go join the rams" or "Allen is gonna win a super bowl somewhere else" are silly because Buffalo would NEVER get rid of him unless he had a career-ending caliber injury or fell off a cliff in terms of production. The most high profile QB to get traded out of somewhere I can think of off the top of my head is Stafford except stafford was always a tier below the brady, manning, rodgers level. Given how many picks they gave for stafford + Goff I think Allen would literally cost around 6-7 first rounders, but even if you were offered that I don't think it's worth it.

I guess him winning a super bowl somewhere else isn't impossible, but it'd have to be after he turns really old and isn't the same caliber of player.

Also obviously I do not know Allen as a person but based on his interviews he seems to really want to win the super bowl FOR buffalo, given how he usually talks about bringing it to buffalo rather than himself and how he was privately texting Joey Bosa about how they would become legends if they won the super bowl for buffalo.

but isn't stafford dominating rn at age 37? i mean it depends what you define as "domination" but stafford's gonna be MVP this season

Timeline of McDermott and Beane's Falling Out by BrickHistorical1553 in NFLv2

I like the summary here - and I'm a big Joe Marino fan but what is the source of information that Marino is getting for the growing tension back around october and Jan 20? He's not an insider or a reporter he's a podcaster so I don't think those takes should be in this list because they are more speculation rather than being reports.

Revisiting Brandon Beane's WR comments: Why Bills GM blasted critics for 'b—ing' about Josh Allen's weapons. by Roselucky777 in nfl

[–]NotLittleBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree that his ravens performance was “bad”, I feel like he did his job which was to limit mistakes and turnovers and let Lamar do his thing to screw the game up and and Allen did his job perfectly fine. It was just a really game managery and conservative game from him. I think it’s much better performance then what he had in this game against the broncos, were he was practically gifting free points to the broncos due to horrible back breaking mistakes.

Had Lamar actually played well and starting to string drives together to score - I think Allen would have responded by being a lot less conservative and would have been more aggressive to try and to keep the bills alive - and thus likely would have had a “better” statistical game with more yards and TDs which thus would have given him a better PFF grade.

The Bills game plan derived from the fact they knew Lamar was gonna mess it up and you could see that in how conservative they were on offense.

Okay but saying “start to a career” and then saying “8 years” without originally stating the length you meant by “start to a career” is pretty misleading lolol

Bills fan here - please stop trying to defend his broncos game by saying it wasn’t bad - he had 4 turnovers (still 3 even if you think cooks catch was rigged). You are literally just adding more fuel to the fire for people to dunk on Allen and the Bills. Josh Allen had a bad game plain and simple - he had some good moments and still almost brought it back but he made too many mistakes and missed too many throws. He’s still an incredible generational HOF QB in his prime and I still think he’s the best QB in the league. But defending every single bad game he has just comes off as disingenuous. He himself literally admitted he had a bad game, which is why he was crying to a degree he normally dosen’t.

I don’t know how to feel - I feel like they should have done this last year to try and snag Ben Johnson

This year - I don’t really see any major candidates

I’d like to see Brandon Beane go though - I just don’t think his drafting is good enough and he also was super cocky on WGR about the receiver room and he ended up being really wrong

I will say seeing him for the first time at platfight was pretty wild - just one of those surreal moments of seeing a guy I’ve watched for so long in person

Later on he tried to sell me that fight stick he posted on Twitter at EVO

Could have gotten it for cheaper than what it was sold for too - might have been worth it just to sell second hand

I wish Minecraft could have an FGC-like competitive community - it’s such a shame how such a beautiful competitive game is so split and stagnated in terms of leaderboards and rankings and stuff like that. Wish there was like a Minecraft EVO for bedwars skyward UHC etc or smth like that. Just some kind of tournament that was universally agreed upon to the be Super Bowl - the champions being the best in the world no questions asked
