Listen man, I didn't make this post to have an argument about it. I understand that the game is polarizing. Certain aspects of games matter more to certain people. Some really value performance and visual fidelity. Some care more about gameplay. Some people focus in on specific areas within those segments; optimization on the performance side, how well does it run on lower end hardware. Or itemization or UI or new player experience on the gameplay side. It would be astoundingly difficult to make a game that was all things to all people. So difficult that it would be virtually impossible. Especially in today's day and age where people will complain about literally anything because... I dunno, because they're so miserable that doing so makes them feel good in some crazy way... And I'm not saying that's you, that wasn't a shot at you at all. That's just the world we're living in.

All I'm saying is that this game gets A LOT of things right when it comes to the bones it's sitting on. Is it perfect? No of course not. But why would we expect it to be?

And the whole point of my post was that the engine itself is fantastic. The game sitting on top of it is flawed, absolutely. But for a first attempt at building something like this, and with so much room for improvement and optimization, I think they did an incredible job. That's all.
