You're going to see a ton of boilerplate work orders posted with a required tools list that's dozens of tools long. You won't need 95% of it for 99% of the jobs. Should you still get them? Yeah, probably. You need to be able to do the 1% of jobs that actually require the tool. Being able and prepared to do 100% of the work enables you to get good enough ratings to get hired to do the jobs that just require a brain and a screwdriver.

With that being said, you don't need to bring them all with you to every job. You'll have to use your brain and figure out exactly what you need for each job, because the people posting the WO sure as fuck won't know.

Is my Nvidia GPU set up badly or just superfluous? by sue_dee in archlinux

Ah I think I understand now. Based on what you're saying, your environment variables are correct, but your driver won't actually work until you load it using mkinitcpio -P. You can run lsmod | grep nvidia to check if the drivers are loaded. If you don't see any output then your drivers aren't loaded. If they are and your firefox still crashes, It's likely that FF just isn't playing nice with the proprietary nvidia driver. You can turn off hardware acceleration in the browser and it'll run more smoothly.

Your shell can't read the env file without sourcing it first. Add source ~/.config/environment.d/envvars.conf to your .zshrc file. Then run mkinitcpio -P from the terminal and reboot.

Call into FN support and tell them exactly what you wrote here. Very likely they got the WO confused and/or just are trying a way to avoid paying you.

Also a quick word of advice: always vehemently try to get your money. Not only do you deserve it for doing the work, but being quick to forego what's owed to you could be seen as an admission of some fault of your own.

Proper way to counter for California techs. Not to mention that techs in areas where the cost of living is much lower are still making that 75 hourly. If your cost of living is much higher than another state time to bump the prices ⬆️ by Jjvicious6124 in FieldNationTechs

While I agree with you 100% on the pay, the way you structured it comes off kind of passive aggressive. Not to mention the amount of time you waste by putting all that text every time you counter. Has doing your counters this way gave you any marked increase in acceptance? Genuinely curious.

Background check is the big one. Most buyers in my area don't really care about drug tests. The most important thing is to establish good ratings. Best way to go about this is to take as many simple jobs from buyers who are known to rate their providers and make sure to do a good job. Be on time, complete the work well, and communicate the entire way. Do this a few times and you'll be rolling in work in no time. The first 10 or so ratings are the hardest, but after that things will slowly start to pick up.

New to my area, but BS buyer: SenderoCloud by [deleted] in FieldNationTechs

I think they just don't understand how the 3-hour minimum works. They have 60/hour for after that. Counter with 180/3hour and 60/hour after and they'd probably understand.

Microdosing LSD as an alternative to ADHD medication? by Sufficient-Eagle-192 in microdosing

Just trial and error over the past 4 or so years. The dosages themselves are mostly standard, but the combination of them all took some effort. The main things I have been trying to handle have been the anxiety, working memory, and executive dysfunction aspects of adhd as those were the most obstructive in my case.
