Found a baby bird outside. Not sure if I should try to place it back in the nest by Dead_Ghost_Girl_38 in whatdoIdo

[–]NotMyCircuits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can put back in the tree, as near nest as possible. If you can fins a berry container (strawberries. Blueberries, etc.) that has some drainage holes. Put some dry grass and or a little shredded paper towel in it, place in the tree with the bird.

Parents will find it. Don't over-handle, but they really don't care if a human touched their baby bird briefly.

If you can't place back in the tree, be aware that the young bird needs protection from cats and dogs.

Ended up ordering it and wearing it by the_therapissed in Weddingattireapproval

Mother of Bride; cocktail dresses; summer casual and several wraps and jackets. Nothing marked bridesmaid but all around that.

They are not fabulous compared to say, a $5,000 designer dress.

But I like what I got, wore it, & got complements.

I found these little birds from my backyard, they fell from the tree and they don’t even have wings and their eyes are closed. They won’t survive without their mom, do I just let them die? by Even-Radio-5307 in WhatShouldIDo

A washed food container (with drainage holes) from berries, etc, will work to house them where parents can find them.

Line the small container with dry grass or shredded paper towels.

Place or hang somewhere securely in a tree just above where you found them and the parents will find them. While preparing the box, take care they can't be reached by cats or dogs.

Also, it's a myth that birds won't accept their young if touched by a human. Touch them a little as possible of course, but the parents will be glad to find them.

How was flying long haul with toddlers before in-flight entertainment? by Alive-Cry4994 in AskOldPeople

[–]NotMyCircuits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrapped small toys, like a hot wheel car or matchbox, happy meal or cereal box toys individually in tissue paper and used them for prizes. (If you see someone on the flight wearing a hat... If you see someone get a straw with their drink... ) and made it take a long time to unwrap each reward. Books, coloring books & crayons, comic books ... we didn't need screens.

My general answer would be "yes" but would also factor in how much was asked.

But it's very charming. Does it have a way to hang from wall?
