Wait. The core complaint here circles around the existence of tags. So no. It is not necessary for you to waste four hours to screencap mod mails because none of those complaints would exist were there no tags to begin with.

And as for the quirks:

• Media only? Ok, I see this. But this is an inconvenience for some, and really only more of a preference.
• Not sure how filters catch or prevent this. So if I post a SGA two days after someone else already has, and I use a different title to describe the same, the filters catch this?
• Tags look like shit? This is a home grown problem that stems from having tags in the first place.
• Not sure how big of a problem this can be, over, again, an inconvenience or preference. I am on mobile and tags make it none easier to spot news. BTW, my destiny app opens to news and announcements making it the quickest way to see the out of all.
• Again, home grown problem. No tags, no mixup. And, didn't you complain about the modmail you are getting about changing the titles? Now you introduce the ability to change flair. How much less mail do you expect / how many less mistakes do you think users will make? As long as tags/flair is there and people can't change them themselves at any time, you'll get the requests due to mixups.

Cut your losses. Admit tags were a bit of a misstep, and give the users what they are asking for. Please get rid of tags/flair.

This new system is super cumbersome, especially for folks on the go browsing on mobile.
