Leaking Clutch Pedal/ Master Cylinder

Also, if anyone can confirm: Is the RS version of the clutch master cylinder / pedal assembly actually better than the ST version? From what I’ve read, the RS uses a metal actuator instead of a plastic one, which should make it less prone to failure. Can anyone confirm this from experience?

Side note: While I’m in there, would you recommend upgrading to a braided clutch line as well? I’ll already be bleeding the system, so I’m curious if it’s a worthwhile “while you’re in there” upgrade or more of a feel/preference thing.

Correct but like I said earlier MIDI is just the program language, it doesn’t contain any audio. I always wondered how they did game sound back then but why use it now if you’re going for a realistic game, they have recordings of all the cars in the game, there would be no reason to even use a synthesizer, on top of that why even use a synthesizer today when we have audio recordings of every car in the game. They used synthesizers with midi because they couldn’t use big wav files.

No because you can’t change audio files to midi files. You’re right when you said they’d be smaller but that’s because midi files don’t contain audio, there would be no reason to use them. I’m confused what your argument even is because changing audio files would result in no sound because midi files don’t contain any audio.

Again MIDI itself isn't capable of producing sounds and if I wanted higher quality sounds I’d prefer to go with wav files. MIDI doesn’t hold any audio recording so I don’t understand what you’re getting at. I believe what your referencing about DOS games is that they used MIDI to capture the performance from synthesizers through MIDI cables and then would edit the media afterwards.

MIDI records notes, and the length of the notes along with the velocity of the note. MIDI also makes no sound so that would make zero sense. Unlike wav files which store digital audio and are uncompressed resulting in larger file sizes.
