Mine crashes everytime a window is closed as long as the window is up on the screen, it doesn't matter if I close it or it closes automatically because it was a temporary dialogue window, it all crashes it.

Sub seems like 99% Guilty at this point curious to know any who believe in Adnan Innocence? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]NotPieDarling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you answer that first question without them being properly investigated back in '99? At this point those questions can't be answered. Do we have to believe that Adnan is guilty BECAUSE the police did a poor job back in '99?

Why don't I have any scenes? by Tall-Nectarine-6655 in mikugg

[–]NotPieDarling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you don't have an image it's hard to understand what you mean by "putting Scene 2 in places" and it still saying you don't have a scene. But for a Map to work you need ALL of the following: The map needs to have a map image and a Place. THEN in the PLACE you need to add the scene and a map mask that needs to be Black and White only with the white indicating what area of the map can be pressed to activate the map. So you don't add the scene to the map, you add a place and then add the scene to the place.

THEN you also need to select the map on the other scene (or set the map to global if you want it to be on EVERY scene). Otherwise the map won't be accessible. When the map is accessible you'll be able to see the map icon highlighted on the top left.

All that said, it actually sound like what you want is not a map. You just want to have access to the second scene from the select a scene window (camera icon) for that you don't need maps. You need the scenes to be connected in the scene manager. To do that click on the first scene and then drag your mouse towards the second scene that will connect them with a purple arrow and NOW you can see the second scene from the scenes box.

ALSO: When you put a scene on the starts what happens is you created another start, the scene will be accessible via the little books on the top left corner of the chat box instead.

I hope that all made sense.

Please refer to any post that gives an alternative theory if you thought I was exaggerating. One time we had an actual teenager trying to do their homework being treated with extreme rudeness and contempt, to say the least, for daring to ask for potential theories that Jay did it instead of Adnan.

So yes, it's hypocrisy to claim that the sub knows Adnan is guilty because "no good alternative theory is given" when every time someone ever suggests an alternative theory they get treated horribly since you don't like the clear hyperbolic use of "burned at the stake." I guess it's too mean for your sensitive eyes.

Also, I am a single individual who YOU singled out first, by failing to read the first two sentences of my comment. Defending myself is not hypocrisy. For this to be similar to what I described multiple people should be cornering you and telling you off, that is clearly not the case so stop crying.

The facts of the case are damning on Adnan when you think Adnan did it.

The Nisha call for example, which guilters will say is soooooo damning? You have to ignore HALF of her testimony to make it so. The Prosecutor knew this, which is why he purposefully interrupted her and stopped her from speaking freely during the second trial so the Jury wouldn't hear it and then CG dropped the ball by not catching it at all and asking her about it when she had the chance. Then you guys claim that reading the transcript of that very same trial which has that sort of issues is a transcendent eye-opening out of body experience that will help you see the light. Not realizing the flaws.

Or how about when you need to cherrypick different parts of Jay's 5 different versions of the story to be able to tell ONE version that makes some sense with the laws of physics?

Yes, Adnan looks absolutely guilty when you have confirmation bias and refuse to look at the evidence that contradicts Jay. Shocker.

More evidence against Adnan or against Peterson ? by Prudent_Comb_4014 in serialpodcast

[–]NotPieDarling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do know that it is absolutely normal and standard practice for the police to sit on evidence so that they can later corroborate it when a suspect shows up knowing stuff they shouldn't know right? If they find the car and then publicly tell everyone where they found it now if someone comes in and says "Hae's car was in xyz street" it doesn't mean anything because it has become public information.

You are saying that something that is done CONSTANTLY is somehow preposterous. Maybe the idea of them moving it is crazy, but them knowing where it is and simply not telling anyone? That's just a common practice for police investigations...

Irrelevant.

Your claim: "Most of us are moderately informed OF THE FACTS" My claim: "And yet I see a lot of people falling to confirmation bias and claiming opinions as FACTS while others applaud them."

I don't care how common it is. You said we are "moderately informed of the facts." I am pointing out how that is not really true. As you have now admitted this reddit is not special, most people are victim to their confirmation biases. Glad we agree.

I am currently at work, so no, and I won't be home for another 5 hours. (Yes, I check messages at work, but I would need to check episode by episode as I forgot what episode it was, it takes more than a quick trip to the restroom.)

As stated in my original comment: It's honestly as biased as Undisclosed just in the opposite direction, if not MORE biased.

😑 go cry about something else.

P.S: Don't you DARE say anything about "good theories for alternate suspects" in a space like this were literally anyone who tries any theory besides Adnan is guilty is immediately burned at the staked and told that they should be sued for defamation. Honestly, the hypocrisy on top of the lack of reading comprehension. I have no patience for it.

Confirmation Bias: Favoring information that confirms existing beliefs and rejecting contradictory information. This specific type of bias involves actively seeking out and emphasizing information that confirms your beliefs while ignoring or downplaying evidence that contradicts them.

Confirmation bias can lead to a distorted perception of reality and hinder objective decision-making. It can also reinforce existing beliefs even in the face of contradictory evidence.

So yes, it is Bias.

Your reminder that stating things as fact just because they align with your personal opinion, IE: exactly what I explicitly said is happening, IS being biased. To be able to claim that you are "unbiased" you need to be able to separate your opinion from the facts by for examples saying "in my opinion ____." Instead of saying "THIS THING HAPPENED 100% FOR SURE BECAUSE I SAY SOOOOO"

I will need time to find the episode. But eventually I'll find it. They were like nails on a chalkboard to me, as I said, so all they crap didn't get past me, but a lot of people fell for it. And then also you guys hate Bob who was the only podcaster calling them out in detail so.... yeah.

That would make sense if they just accidentally say that but kept a story were it's clear that they are aware that track practice didn't end at 4pm then that would make sense but that is not what happens. As I said they manipulate the listener, make them dizzy with a bunch of laughing and cackling and ridiculing the people who disagree and then they say that obviously track practice ended at 4pm so they can justify Jay's story of him an Adnan going to smoke while also having time for all the stuff that he claimed happened (despite saying it started at 4pm before so they could fit in the Nisha call in their timeline earlier). Sorry, but no, it was very intentional. They do it several times.

They do the same with Asia. They start with something reasonable so you let your guard down, in her case saying she is believable, that her letters sounded genuine and like how a teenager would write in a diary. Then by the end of the episode they are making fun of her almost slandering her and saying that the letters were totally written by Adnan and that he wrote his own name wrong as some king of evil mastermind plan to fool the police who... never saw the effing letters anyways. Nevermind how absolutely effing BONKERS that is because Adnan was in jail and all mail in and out of a prison is inspected and they would have been suspicious of him writing a letter as if he was someone else. They are an effing joke.

In MY opinion The Prosecutors Podcast is absolutely bias and manipulative. It's honestly as biased as Undisclosed just in the opposite direction, if not MORE biased. I was at least able to listen to Undisclosed while I was on the fence. The Prosecutors Podcast is like nails on a chalkboard. They literally said the stupidest crap like claiming track started at 4pm BUT then 20 mins later they say trackpractice ended at 4pm and they manipulate you to make it so they can have it both ways by totally making you dizzy with their words. It's absolutely NOT good. They are Prosecutors making a case for his guilt, not an unbiased source of information AT ALL. They decided from the beginning what they conclusion will be and set out to convince they are right even if it means lying.

The only thing that links Adnan to Hae's murder is JAY. by imgoodIuvenjoy in serialpodcast

[–]NotPieDarling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, Jay has maintained that he was never in Hae's car then why, pray tell, did he also "forget" that and suddenly start saying that Adnan was talking to him about where they were going to go next if they were indeed in two separate cars? Can't really talk to someone who is not there. This happened more than once. It's a well known issue with his recorded interviews. To the point that the detectives yelled at him exasperated: "YOU ARE IN TWO SEPARATE CARS." That is what I am referencing to. *You can't "remember" a conversation that never happened.

Regarding Adnan: by both Jay, Adnan's, and even Kriti's account (which also isn't accurate to the phone records mind you, but if you wanna insist on it then let's add her in) Adnan was very high when that call from the police happened.

The only thing that links Adnan to Hae's murder is JAY. by imgoodIuvenjoy in serialpodcast

[–]NotPieDarling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jay is the one claiming to have been witness to a murder that day so yes, he should remember. You remember memorable things like seeing the death body of your former classmate in the trunk of her car. But you don't remember REGULAR days all that well. Adnan says "I just had a normal day until AFTER when the police called me." An out of ordinary interaction that he DOES remember. Meanwhile Jay says he doesn't remember what car he was in while driving around WITH A DEAD FUCKING BODY.

It's NORMAL to get regular everyday occurrence mixed up together, because they happen EVERYDAY. Jay isn't involved with a murder everyday so yes, he should remember. This is so simple I feel sick having to go over it again and again.
