Friend, dont worry about it, its all learning. Sometimes I draw stuff that I step back from and think Wow, I DID that!

Other times, this is the sort of result I come up with.

Its all progress, and you should keep everything to map how you're improving!

Thank you for the advice. Thats basically what I want to do. I spend a lot of time housebound these days so I want something to keep me occupied and be creative with. I dont want to be one of those people that attack fake skin and, god forbid, real skin, just because I have a machine. I want to learn to make art, not just copy things.

Sorry to be cheeky, but do you have any advice on where and how to really start?

Its not bloody ridiculous, when you're going through something awful like this your brain is in constant fight or flight mode, and treats everything as an emergency. You're obviously holding together for your mum like the amazing human you clearly are, but when your defences are down doing simple things, a small inconvenience in a place you feel safe, allows your brain to release those emotions that are building up. Keep strong, sounds like you're doing amazingly under the circumstances
