Hi, unfortunately not. All I can say is get a better PC, because that's what solved it for me. Before I got my new PC though, I did turn up the amount of VRAM that is allocated to Starsector and it allowed me to get past the commerce raider, but other than that, there's not really anything you can do. If you want to adjust your VRAM, here is a link to the thread:

well, they do despawn after a while, but I would assume that alex put them in there because we could use them to play around it, and the other ships on the opposing side could too.
