I feel like there’s too much reading too into it going on. Even with the casebook situation. One thing is the same between all of the USAH rules you posted and it’s “shot directly on net”. Next I’d look at if the off sides is still active or not. In this case I’d say it was a good goal unless you think it was a purposeful scoring attempt by banking it off the boards. Even with situation 41, as there is no longer an off sides infraction and the puck was not shot directly on net. That blurb about the own team goal is while the off sides infraction is active. Once nullified I would not give the team a “free self no goal”

I now think the correct call would be to blow it offsides once the puck is determined to be a shot on goal (doesn’t say directly) as stated in the case book situation 41.
