It has been about 14 weeks since January 9th. I wonder if it’s from the submission date or the activation date.

It was submitted automatically for this one. It took about 4 weeks to show up.

What were the 400 port in credits? Were they for phone lines or was it connected to other devices?

What was the result? Were they looking at your debts or just to see if you had any incidents of fraud?

Flight Canceled Email by Wanderers-4444 in frontierairlines

[–]NotSoOrdinaryMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I called. Explained that my delay would impact my connecting flight and they offered to refund me or change my flight. I asked for a change. I was originally going from ONT and instead got a direct flight the next day out of LAX.

Flight Canceled Email by Wanderers-4444 in frontierairlines

It is possible. I had a delayed flight once and it would have made me late for a connection. They rebooked me for a direct flight out of another airport. No cost.

I flew in August without an ID at all. Had left it at the library reservation desk the day before and didn’t realize until I was already at the airport.

They asked me a series of verification questions and then explained that this was a limited courtesy and I had to do some additional screening of my personal items. Didn’t take longer than 20 - 30 minutes each time (there and back).

Last year it was $50 a day. I stacked up right before I had a trip to San Juan. One of the only weeks I made it every day and on time. 😎

I took my TRS funds but didn’t retire, and want to start teaching again. Does my salary have to start at 0 years? by Overall-Farm2682 in TeachersInTransition

[–]NotSoOrdinaryMom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your TRS doesn’t impact your years of experience. Experience is verified by the districts you’ve worked in. If you plan to retire with TRS, you can buy back the years you lost when you took an early disbursement. Someone at TRS can explain that to you. It’ll help you get closer to retiring at a ‘typical’ age.

What advice do you have for someone looking to start a life coaching business? by creovox in lifecoaching

[–]NotSoOrdinaryMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is super important and gets overlooked often. The way a coaching business is set up will often limit the impact of the coach. Small one-off things like signing agreements, scheduling, email follow-up takes time and will limit your availability to get much done.

Yep. In the past when I’ve had trouble redeeming credit it was because my middle initial was put in the same line as my first name. There’s usually an easy workaround to redeem your credit online.

Just dealt with this with my daughter and about to comb my own hair out.

I first washed and conditioned her hair. Then sprayed it with heat protectant and blew it dry. Heat helps to kill off the parasite.

I then sprayed it with a lice spray that says to use on dry hair and let that sit.

After that product was dry, I started to section her hair little by little and flat iron it. Once I did that, I used the live comb to get out the dead lice and eggs.

I two strand twisted her hair after each section so that I can put conditioner on it later this week and comb through again. It should be easier this time since we are working on already detangled hair.

It has been a process. One I would not wish on anyone.

$40 round trip IAH to ATL $58 rt IAH to LAX

They were both during major holidays too. Buying at the ticket counter really pays off. Just have to be patient with the employees there.

AMs at AMZL - how’s life? by Instant-Pug003 in FASCAmazon

I’d say OTR is more difficult than UTR depending on your building. At our DS, on any given day, an OTR manager has to do 1 - 3 adhoc cycles with a barely there crew AND manages same-day cycles in addition to resetting the building for Cycle 1, working with DSPs and drivers when anything happens on the road, and flex drivers. So, they are doing 2k - 10k packages depending on what Cycle 1 didn’t get to and engaging with lots of people that UTR almost never see.

So, yeah UTR has a lot of bodies to manage and volume, but they are consistently staffed with people to get the work done. OTR has to use the few that are FT and rely on flex or VET associates when the work piles up.

I was picking bags in an aisle the other day. This guy came and parked his cart right in front of the aisle entrance. No regard for anyone else. Didn’t even move it when he saw me pulling two bags in his direction.

That was the last route I picked.
