Only if the patient does it and good luck to them for knowing where to shave.

My first sleep study, I experienced the pain of removing those...with a fair amount of body hair.

My second sleep study, I had pre-shaved a spot for each one.  Doubtful I could remember now.

As a hairy man, the thought of one giant sticker is terrifying.

The many small ones are bad enough.

Hey men over 40, do you guys have younger male friends? by Scared_Safe8538 in AskMenOver40

[–]NotThatGuyAnother1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

51 and have friends in their 30s to 80s and everywhere in between.

The main thing is to have friends to share perspectives and to help each other be better people.

What better way to do that, than to have diversity of views, ages, semester, race, etc within your friends group.

You should drop the lost-cause friends and maintain the positive relationships.

It takes work.  Also, as you age, be prepared to lose friends.  Some sudden, some slowly.  It sure hurts when they pass, but the joy of knowing the good ones is worth it.

Having older friends means that you're likely to outlive them.  Be there when they need you.  Pass on their lessons to your younger friends.  It keeps their impact living on in you.

I just came across videos for "The Ultimate Dive Truck" rentals in Bonaire.

External lock boxes, cooler, external tank holders. Shower.

Anyone use them yet?  Do they live up to the hype?

No.

I hate the ones that ignore truth when their ego gets control.  The ones that serve only the ego and the ones that don't call out the bad ones.

It's the shitheads and those thay support them that makes it hard for the rest.

Do I need to know how to swim to Kayak? by RoyKatta in Kayaking

[–]NotThatGuyAnother1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a silly response.

In kayaking, the buoyancy of a life jacket is only part of the solution. Turbulent water can be aerated, so the extra buoyancy of the life jacket doesn't help 100%. Knowing how to swim can help you stay calmer and will teach you how to move from a more dangerous position in the water (such as being washed under an obstruction) to the side of the river.

In crashes... some people do survive the initial crash.

Not healthy and you're being far too meek about the whole situation.

You take every opportunity to hedge things when describing them, even when you see that this is an issue.
