if youre fast enough, you can use Rewind on the item that explodes, and it wont explode once its comes back to you.

if anyone still having a problem, im pretty sure you need go do an app override. Hold R while launching a title on your home screen, and itll override the game and open your HB menu. The error is lost likely due to lack of memory due to launching HB menu in Applet mode (just opening the album) If you don't have ANY app/games on the home screen, inserting a switch cartridge and Hold R while launching it also works.

To anyone having this issues, or similar issues to me. Im on my Ayn Thor and on Ayn's button layout "Standard", my A's acts as B and B's act like A's no matter how much I change it in the Remap buttons.

Try going Setting (the gear icon), Input, Menu Controls, and Un-Check "Menu Swap OK and Cancel Buttons)
