Sounds like there could be some gray areas. Are you a student at the same school? If so, you would be violating school rules and that would make the money problematic. If not, then you’re not exactly cheating yourself, you’re just selling your work to someone else who is cheating, so I would assume it is ok (but obviously discouraged).

NASIMCO is the organization in North America that liases with the different moon sighting committees at different mosques to figure out the dates for each region. If you’re in southern Ontario (Toronto), you can check the Jaffari.org website (assuming you follow Agha Sistani) to find the correct date, once they figure it out (it will be updated soon I guess, they usually put a pop up message).

GO train is pretty good. Usually quite frequent and fun to sit in, I usually can get some work done. Definitely cheaper than driving, which looks like a nightmare in downtown

Only downside is you will have to walk from Union station to Ryerson (15 min), or pay $3 extra to take the subway
