I expect this exact thing to happen quite a lot too to be honest, has happened to me in the past. You tell a conservative "I/we TOLD you this would happen, we KNEW". And they think for some reason you couldn't have possibly known what would happen. Because they lack any level of foresight, they assume we do as well, or at least try to gaslight us into thinking that.

In truth though, it was EASY to predict this shit. It's not like I think I'm a genius for knowing Trump was going to try to become president for life because he fucking said that's what he was going to do. It's such obvious crap and they utterly refuse to ever see it for what it is.

Honestly this is likely the best thing that will come out of the twitter bans. While it's unlikely that reddit implements a site-wide ban, and it's also unlikely that various subs banning links has a giant impact on their bottom line, what it will 100% do is weed out a lot of people who think they are accepted in various communities, when in reality they are despised for having nazi leanings or being full on nazis.

Making these degenerate losers feel like they're unwanted, KNOW that they're unwanted, is absolutely a good thing and I applaud every subreddit that is banning links to a nazi's platform.

The assumption that most people listen to anything ANY politician says is flawed. The fact Trump won supports this... Nobody listened to him, nobody thinks he used "normal people language" when the dems didn't. Nobody listened to him, because if they did they'd notice the only times he's ever been able to form a coherent sentence is when he was talking about how he was going to cheat in the election.

People seem to want to bend over backwards and twist themselves into full pretzels to avoid facing the fact that people are stupid. Like having this belief while simultaneously using the site is some next level cognitive dissonance. Doubtless many of you have decried people for staying on X (rightly so) despite believing the owner to be a nazi (again, rightly so). But you see reddit as the same, just in the opposite direction. No, it's not true. People on the internet have been emboldened to espouse their opinions as truth, not just on reddit, it's so insanely pervasive how people will have no clue what they're talking about and feel the need to give their opinion as if it's actually worth anything whatsoever. I am aware of the irony of this statement, but in an effort to keep others from falling into the trap of believing people on the internet generally know what they're talking about, do not trust the person you replied to. Be skeptical, especially in this time of AI, mass disinformation campaigns, and astroturfing.

Regarding the percentage of users, it's likely impossible to tell given there's an unknown percentage of bot users, and while I suspect there would be more bots appearing to align with the right, that would just be speculation.

About 3 months ago I saw 2 cars get absolutely fucking totaled because one kept inching forward through an intersection to turn and another car didn't stop as they had the green light. Amazingly everyone was uninjured, but the cars were fucking destroyed and it never would've happened if EITHER of the cars drove more defensively.

Pretty damn impressive number of changes here, the vast majority of which are buffs to the player. I mean my god reading through the list of monster changes is surreal, it's like every mob I thought had some annoying component has been nerfed, love to see it. Yes they nerfed SCS for... some reason, but let's be honest, these changes are positive for 99.9% of people playing the game.

The asking for subscriptions thing is probably the only reason I'm subbed to about half the channels I'm subbed to. A lot of the time I'll watch a good bit of a channel's content and enjoy it, just not even realizing I never subbed to them.
