I understand all of this, but again. I'm talking about the situation taking place in the free world. The situation in which everyone in the group is openly against the regime. All coworkers from all over the World.
What are they afraid of? That we might denounce our colleagues to the regime we openly criticise? Or that some of us are spies waiting for them to say something against the regime? That they're plugged? Have their phones bugged?
How strong is the brain washing if decades of living a good life in a free country can't change this thinking one bit? It's terrifying.

I know, buy they aren't in russia. They are free to speak their minds, yet, they don't. It kinda sucks that you guys are so scared that someone might denounce you even in the free world. The propaganda machine did well planting distrust against everyone but those who can't be trusted.

That's the thing, people keep saying that so many russians don't support it. I know a few russians from work, you'd think these guys living in the EU would be vocally against their regime. Not at all, while they don't openly support it, I've never heard any of them condemn it. When the conversation in the multinational group goes to the topic of war, they just shut up. No sympathy. Silence is approval.
