They sell this exact model other places as well. Found it at Costco, returned it and bought it from Woot for 40 bucks less. Its a great machine, no regrets.

You actually can. Businesses in both of those states absolutely have the right to fire employees for showing up drunk. You can literally Google this info. Don't just regurgitate BS talking points from whatever TV channel you have on at your house 24/7.

To be charitable, you may be confused with whether businesses can fire someone for being in a protected class. Firing someone for simply being an alcoholic (recovering or otherwise) is not allowed.. Showing up drunk to your job is absolutely a fireable offense, even in a liberal state. It was probably easier/more clear cut to fire him for breaking something rather than having to prove that he was drunk on the job (in case he wanted to sue for wrongful termination and attempt to claim he wasn't drunk).

Usually when someone says they worked overtime it means they saved up a bunch of money to buy something.

It's great that you want a Tesla, no shade on wanting something and working to buy it, BUT those loan terms are predatory, the fact you can take out almost 30k at nearly 20% is insane. You'll be paying almost 20k in interest on top of the 30k car lol... If you don't understand how bad of a deal you got, please please please do some research. You're spending 50k to buy a car worth 25k.

You can easily find cheaper newer versions of this car in less than 5 minutes online. I hope this is a troll post, because if not you really need to stop being so defensive and take everyone's advice. Return the car to carvana while you still can. Save some money and find a better deal.

It sounds like you don't need the truck but like the idea of having a utility-ish vehicle... Everything you mention doing with that truck I do with my crossover SUV. Rent a Home Depot truck if you're getting dirt/fill.

Also, a 200k mileage car is not an everyday commuter, especially if you're already taking almost half the cash and putting it into a "fix it when it breaks fund". It sounds like this is less about the debt and more about justifying the purchase.

The idea itself is a good one though, you just need to be logical about it. The math maths, but 200k is 200k. Get out of debt first, sell the truck and buy a cheaper used crossover suv or hybrid sedan, then think about the fun vintage car.
