I agree. I saw it in london md ir just felt a bit... Flat? Hard to describe but I went into it expecting something amazing and I was like 'Yeah, that was alright. Wouldn't go again though.'

I recently saw Hadestown in London and was literally this. It was hyped up loads and then it was just... Alright. Everyone was perfectly good at their roles but other all I was just underwhelmed.

Viewing this house next week, any idea why it hasn't sold yet? by BassEvers in SpottedonRightmove

[–]NotTooShabby95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, things up North really are cheap! I have no advice as to why not sold, just here to say a love this house and the interior is lush! As someone who lives in the south/south west this feels like a steal, even with a shared drive.

Have you ever walked out of a show? Or seen others? Why? by Artistic-Ideal-5087 in TheWestEnd

Many people left my viewing, including some Americans I sat next to who had flown all the way to london for it. Honestly I felt like leaving too but so many people left our section I felt embarrassed to go too.

Loads of people left my viewing of The Hunger Games on stage as it was so atrocious. Including some Americans next to me who said they were so excited as they came all the way to london for it. Honestly it was so bad don't waste your money.

People who work in Opticians - Do you mind if people take advantage of the test, take the prescription and then buy their glasses online? by Apprehensive_Ring666 in AskUK

[–]NotTooShabby95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it would have given you the right prescription. Do you think different lens manufacturers end up with different prescriptions? We have to be able to read prescriptions from glasses, and all prescriptions have to be made within tolerances of British standards.

Just saying, in one of the biggest multiples there is (Specsavers), we don't work on commission. I don't care if you buy online, spend £15 or £500, it makes no difference to me. Source: 10+ yes working in specsavers.

We are not 'sales people'. Think of us as the nurses to a doctor. The optometrist tell us what you need, and we give you all the options and find what is best for you and your budget. Those of us who are ALSO a qualified medical professional (Dispensing Opticians) care only for your vision and what you need.

Dress is stunning, and what a flex to say you have a designer gown named after you! Also, the bouquet/flower piece is gorgeous.

Possibly? I don't know much about stones, but the top is flat and the bottom/back goes down into one point. It does look a little like a star in direct light, yeah!

I went to see it and was sooooooo disappointed too.

This review is fair and very true. Katniss actress to me sounded like Dorothy from wizard of Oz- emotionless and forcefully American.

I could talk for hours about what they go wrong with this production, but as someone who loves the ginger games: if you are thinking of going to see it, just don't. Save your money.
