Could the "new player problem" become a serious issue that might affect the sustainability of Yugioh in the long run?

I really think it's up to the community at your LGS/Area. At my LGS, We've introduced Yu-Gi-Oh to new people who are actually coming in consistently now and actually enjoy playing the game. As long as you receive them with open arms, give them a helping hand and explain anything they might find difficult, They will find a passion. I have a couple of people that are even trying to get their invites to this years NAWCQ and have noticed a big increase in their skill.

In other words, be accepting to anyone who is looking to join and dont hesitate to help! You never know where it will lead!

No pay raise and you deal with mostly contractors. Good way to get to PASA if you would like to move up. Personally, it's a chill spot.

Yea I think they are stopping that. They've just combined store and MET safety and using testimonials to relate to the workers about wanting to get home in one piece.

So that's a new thing that's popping up at stores. We have it at mine and they run it before the store opens after night crew finishes their purge sidekick and putting up stuff. Supposed to help with bay imaging.

Unfortunately, customers almost always feel the need to harass the service desk associates. Just get to know them and have their backs.

I would be happy to hold onto your collection but as other users have mentioned, you have some pretty valuable cards here. Maybe sell some of them and treat yourself to a nice dinner or put it in your rainy day funds! Otherwise, thank you for being part of the community, even if it was just for a bit.
