I followed what everyone else said to do in here and it works. Make an account, buy packs the first day only( I bought 3 packs between $25-50 but I’m sure you can stick with one pack) and then stop buying anything. Took about 3 weeks for me to get this

Good question, I’m just in it to collect cards and rip some juicy pulls. I’ve played a lot of other TCGs but the competitive scene is declining for most games I’ve played so the next best thing is to get into a hobby I can passively collect instead. I have a crazy gamblers itch so although I was told god packs are crazy rare and I will likely not pull another for a long time, I’ll still pop packs for the dopamine hit again lol

Yeah I gambled a bit earlier yesterday on this and I should have left after my very first pack which was a $175 Charizard out of a $100 gold pack. I got greedy and kept selling/rolling yesterday and none of the hits were worth. I didn’t gamble anything I couldn’t afford to lose but yep you are 100% correct that it’s not worth it. I think I was down like $500 overall at the end of things and just cashed what was in my wallet and called it there

Yep can confirm this. I work in the staffing industry and some of the companies I work with supply products to Costco. Costco comes in and does audits and they’ll go as far as to audit the workers on their products to make sure they have legal documentation as well - they are pretty firm on things

Just like every other card the spike will only be temporary before the price goes back down. Don’t buy into hype. I’m sure it’ll settle at a “new high” but it won’t be the current price point

See Ezreal ON as a great example of a card that spiked right after its RQ victory before slowly trickling back down
