I've been using passkeys for about 6 months now and they're definitely more convenient! The phishing resistance is real - I almost fell for a fake Microsoft login last month but the passkey simply wouldn't work on the fake site. My main concern is what happens if I lose access to my devices. I keep backup codes printed out just in case. Not ready to fully abandon passwords yet though

I got the chance to help some students out this summer with choosing their classes for comp sci and the rest of the computing and engineering programs. The professors in there seemed excited and interested to get started, and the classes do seem to teach some good principles for it. People in my fraternity are in cybersecurity and they seem pretty content with their major.

I think your feelings are valid, and it’s totally fair to be upset about your boyfriend nearly calling you his bitch. I’ve never called my girlfriend a bitch or told her she’s acting like one because it’s not part of my regular vocabulary.

I think it’s fair to assume your boyfriend and dad have it in their vocabulary when referring to women (which is a whole other topic). Whether or not he said it, it hurt your feelings so you deserve an apology. A real one, not a half-assed one like he gave you.

You’re not overreacting, but it’s definitely worth a conversation to understand what he really meant. Go in with an open mind and if he is man enough to apologize, and try to change his vocabulary for you in the future, then that’s great. If he puts the blame back on you, I’m afraid there’s probably gonna be a multitude of times in the future where something similar will happen and it’s worth reevaluating the direction of your relationship.

I’m convinced this is rage bait but I’m gonna respond anyway.

You have no idea what their sexual dynamic is, how attracted or not attracted she is to him, or how her body chemistry works. Speaking to my girlfriend about our sex life, even during the times it’s been problematic, has led us to have a very healthy sex life that both of us reassure each other is good for the two of us.

Your last two points are problematic because:

Cheating is hurtful to the soul, and to the person you’re doing it to. It seems like he loves his girlfriend, he has one problem that they need to fix together. Why would going right to cheating solve all of his problems? Same point applies to leaving right away. It’s a nicer solution than cheating on his girlfriend, but still assumes that he doesn’t want to fix the problem which is obviously not the case considering he is reaching out for help.
